How is Tony's. I know it might not be the best Italian food, but is it OK? We will probably get the spaghetti, chicken florentine, strip steak and the chicken pasta. We aren't that picky. It looks like a nice place to eat.

the food is average italian... but as of late Tony's has gotten less then stellar reviews. During our last visit, there was an issue with service, as in it was lousy service. Your milage may vary, but Tony's made the top three for worst TS in WDW.

I don't mean to take over your thread, but I really hate to hear this..

We have ADR's for Tony's in Sept.. and was really looking forward to eating here before our MNSSHP.

I know there is going to be numerous opinions on every rest. good or bad, but I was really hoping for more positive ones than negative. The negative ones seem to really make you rethink your ADR's.

The top three worst TS in WDW? Just curious, what are the other 2?

Well, I've been to 4 MNSSHP and ate at LTT twice and Tony's twice. My DD's did NOT like the food at LTT and wanted me to book Tony's again for our 4th party last October.

I had the steak. It was delicious. My girls has the spag and meatballs and thought it was good.

We loved the atmosphere (Lady and the Tramp) and the yummy desserts too.

This, as with all restaurants, gets both good and bad reviews. You must try it once and decide for yourself.

Good luck deciding.

We ate there last summer and we thought it was good. We had a great table on the glass enclosed patio. Our son has a peanut allergy and the server was wonderful about helping us make safe food choices. Our dinner was good. Afterwards, we had great seats for the parade.

We had a good meal there in April. The chicken pasta was good - my Mum and I took home half of ours, it was so big! Luckily we were in a condo, and I made the leftovers stretch for 2 lunches (adding salad)! They cooked a steak plain for my Dad, who has seasoning allergies - he enjoyed it, and my DS helped him finish it and liked it too. The girls just split some pasta - we never ordered a meal for each child, b/c no way ould they eat it all! We weren't on the DDP. I can't remember what DH had, but he didn't complain, so it was either good or OK, but not horrible. We came out just before the parade and sat in those lovely porch rockers until Spectro started. When it started we put the kids to stand on the railing (holding onto them well) and watched from there. Dad scooted closer for a while to get photos, but the rest of us, though our view wasn't perfect, were happier up on the porch than down with the crowd. We then chilled out on our lovely rockers until Wishes, whih we watched from the bottom of Main St. Then we were ahead of the crowd leaving the park.

While it certainly isn't among our favorites, it also isn't "the worst", in our opinion. Our vote for the worst still goes to San Angel Inn, for both their bad food and even worse service. Tony's has ok food. If you aren't that picky, I would certainly try it. The steak is actually pretty good, and my DD-13 likes the spagetti and meatball.

check the thread on "What's the worst restaurant in WDW?" you will see that Tony's is mentioned often. Since every resturant will ahve good and bad reviews... and you can catch places on an off night, I don't think tony's is all bad, in the late 70's when it was the Veranda it was great.

I hope you have an early reservation. We went last year before MNSSH and waited about 45 minutes for our table, which was stuck in a doorway. We kept inquiring only because we would have gone elsewhere, but they kept saying just a few more minutes. It seemed the resturant was overbooked and they just threw in tables. We had to keep pulling our chairs in (I'm only 5 ft and 100 lbs so maybe that's why they stuck us there :lmao: ) The wait staff was working hard but seemed overworked so service was not good. The food wasn't bad but it was a long time to get it. Between the wait to be seated and the food taking so long I felt like I spent my MNSSH time in Tony's!! This yr we booked for LTT at 4:25, Which I beleive is the earliest you can get a reservation for if your admitted for MNSSH @ 4 and a few minutes to get there. Partly my falt for booking a 6ish (can't remember the exact time) reservation last yr, I didn't know you could get in so early.

If your reservation is early enjoy yourself, If it's late, just have a back up plan. We stayed long enough that we went back to MNSSH a second time.

We really loved Tony's and look forward to going back in 2 weeks. We went for lunch, our waitress was wonderful, they even made a pizza for my DD that was not on the menu. The atmosphere was typical for a theme park, so it is not a quiet or romantic location. I think with all restaurants, it is something you have to try for yourself, we sometimes love restaurants with bad reviews and hate something with great ones. All depends on what you are looking for. :thumbsup2

I'm glad (and a bit surprised) Tony's is getting good reviews here. We used to like it but I feel it's fallen off dramatically in both food and service in the past few years and we won't eat there now. I had the rudest CM ever here (got snapped at just asking for water after we've been sitting there for fifteen minutes). But more power to those who enjoy it.

My family and I really liked it last year. It is on our 'must do' list this year. The food was great and the service was wonderful! I was telling the manager how wonderful our service was and my two girls ran out without me:scared: :scared: :scared: I will never go to Disney again with my DD7 having my cell phone number written on her hand:confused:

I'm glad some people like it...

We have never eaten at TTS, but have an early reservation for there before the PPP on 24/08 - we are just going to give it a go, and if we like it GREAT, if not, at least we tried it ourselves and we know for next time.

We ate there in March and the food was ok. Not great Italian food, mediocre, but the place was cute and our service was good. I would not rush back but it was fast, not crowded, and we were hungry and wanted to sit down for a bit.

After reading the reviews, we were very apprehensive about Tony's in November. However, it was a great experience! Our food was good, and we went at lunch time when the costs were a little less. Our server was really nice, and the restaurant is very cute! We sat in the front near the glass windows, and were very happy with the overall experience. We will definitely go back on our next trip! :)
