We had to change a few of our ADR's and really didnt have much left to pick from:eek: We had to cancel our CP ressie and the only thing available that worked with our other plans was Tony's in MK.

Anyone have any advice on this place? Is it pretty decent, or should we try to find something else?

We went to Tony's last summer with our two boys and enjoyed it tremendously! The food was good. Our service was very good and accomodating to our young boys. We will be back this fall. As a matter of fact, our now 4 year old son requested Tony's as a meal this trip. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Dawn

We ate at Tony's and loved it. We sat out in the patio room (don't know what they call it) and the parade came by!
Despite reading mixed reviews, I found that our food and service was excellent, which came as a pleasant surprise. My picky family rated Tony's as our 2nd favorite meal of the week (behind leCellier). I had salmon and I think the others had steak.

A lot of people seem to be down on Tony's but I rather enjoyed it, myself. Large, hearty portions that tasted good. Service was a little screwy (time from appetizer served to main course coming out was about 15 seconds or so), but otherwise pleasant.

Tony's is a nice place for lunch and dinner - it is especially nice as a remembrance of Lady and the Tramp. The food and service are both consistently good.

We ate Dinner at Tony's last Oct. and we loved it. The service, atmosphere and the food was terriffic. I say keep the ADR and enjoy.

It's a tradition with our family. We make it there once a trip! It's a great place to sit and relax, enjoy some food in a homey, warm atmosphere. We have always enjoyed the food and desserts, and love the Lady & The Tramp themeing. Enjoy! :)

We have been there twice this year and both times we really enjoyed it (tons of pics in my March and June links). DH requested it for our Oct trip and today was my reservation day but every single day of my stay, from 4-whenever the place is not available...what am I gonna tell him?

Keep trying. I am sure something will open up.

It sounds like Tony's may have changed in recent years. We ate there a few years ago. The nicest thing I can say about it is that it was the most expensive plate of mediocre spaghetti and meatballs that I have ever had.

Based on all of the positive comments of the other posters here, I think maybe we'll give it another try.

We had a great dinner at Tony's on 7/19. I loved my NY Strip and I think I had the Ice Cream Bomb for dessert.

Our 9 y/o son came down with a rash on his legs the day after we got there. The 19th was the day it was the worst. He was doing okay earlier in the day at Blizzard Beach. But it got worse that afternoon at MK. He started not feeling well. This was possibly due to the lack of decent water fountains there. Most of them produced just a trickle and the bottom was full of stagnant water, just gross. We only noticed this at MK.

Anyway, on the way to Tony's my wife and son went to First Aid while my older son and I went to Tony's to wait. They gave him Benadryl. My wife told him we'd be happy to go back to the resort and relax. He said he wanted to go to dinner. Luckily he sat on the booth half our our table. He laid his head down on our backpack and was asleep within 3 minutes. The hostess brought over a cloth tablecloth to use as a blanket. He was out the entire dinner. The waitress was great about packing his meal to go. He felt much better at the resort and had his dinner at 10:00.

We all loved the food and thought they did a great job with our circumstances. BTW, his rash was mostly better the last day of our trip and completely gone the day after we returned.

We ate there two years ago and really enjoyed it.We also bought the souvenier mugs to take home with us. We will be eating there again on our upcoming trip.

Sounds like given our options we made the best choice:thumbsup2. The other ressie that was open was The Plaza I think. It just didnt seem as appetizing for some reason.

We haven't eaten there in alot of years, back then the food was awful and no way was I paying 20 bucks for spaghetti and meatballs, same for breakfast, same deal I could get at my resort food court but double the price. Might have to look at their menu again.

I vote for keep trying too. Sounds like from some of the others it has improved but we ate here a few years back and it was so bad it was free and i considered asking for my money back! Food was wretched, service horrible and slow, just an all around bad package. I'd try for anything or use two TS on another day, maybe breakfast and dinner, and just stick with CS for MK.

We went to Tony's in May and it was our favorite meal of the week. The waiter was excellent - prompt attentive service, friendly. The food was very tasty. Our glasses were never empty. The kids had pizza and spaghetti, DH had the scampi and I had the pork. All were cooked well. Pricey for spaghetti, but reasonable for a "destination" restuarant. It was our second least expensive meal of the week, only $4 more than our Cape May breakfast, even with deserts. Way less money than Tutto and the food was just as good.

We really liked the atmosphere and themeing in the restaurant too. Not too loud, and the little ones can watch lady and the tramp while they wait to be seated :thumbsup2. They really work the themeing. This was the only photo of food I took all week, and that's because it was just too cool:

Lady and the Tramp were edible. They are made out of chocolate.
