Although my girls have been to MK many times, we have never eaten at this restaurant. Likewise, they have never seen the MSEP, only Spectromagic. I am very excited about the MSEP coming back and I would love to eat at Tony's with a view of the parade. Has anyone done this? If so, did you have to make a special request for a certain are to see the parade?

Any advice would be helpful. We have a ressie for 8:40, party of 3.

Thanks.

While it is possible to see the parade while eating at Tony's it is unlikely. The reason I say this is a couple reasons.
First, you have to be sat on the patio outside to have a "view".
Second, if you are lucky enough to get an outside table there will be "tons" of people between you and the parade. As people you know sit on the sidewalk. So the view may be obstructed completely by the people.
Third is there is no guarantee to get an outside table. You can request it, but can't be locked in. Usually if you wait until one is available you could get it, but you never know how long that will be. You may miss the parade entirely.

Sorry to be the downer, but if you really want to have the kids see the parade best to do it the normal way.

Maybe schedule the meal right after or 1 &1/2 hours before that way you are done in time to pick your spot for the parade.

If people are not sitting on the patio, I have known guests to head out to watch the parade in the middle of their meal, right before or after... I've only seen this in the winter months when there are no tables setup outside tho.

I agree, it seems like you really want to see MSEP, so why chance it? I would eat at Tony's after the parade is over (or before if you want to see fireworks) and then you'll definitely get to do both.

If seeing the parade would be nice, but it won't ruin your evening if you don't see it, then go for Tonys patio during the parade and you may be lucky enough to view it while dining.
