has anyone ever eaten at tony's town square in the magic kingdom i haven't heard too much about tony's except it's themed after lady and the tramp

Well, it's been several years since we've had dinner there so hopefully you'll hear from someone with more recent experience, but...we didn't care for dinner there at all. The food just wasn't very good. Breakfast there used to be good and MANY moons ago, lunch was too (when it was Town Square Cafe, actually). Breakfast was discontinued a year or so ago although they currently have a character breakfast there because CP is closed. But unless you get reports that dinner has vastly improved...skip it! Lunch is probably as bad??

we probably won't eat there again. We had dinner there last year and the menu was very, very limited. Granted... I love italian food but they had NO variety. The food was okay - nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the environment but I found it to be too pricey.

We had great food there for lunch in January. We have reservations again for this November.

we have just returned and had breakfast there saturday. it was very yummy. one in our party opted for the "healthy choice" and it looked(and tasted) great.:p

We ate dinner there last December and it was delicious. The service was great, although very few people were there so I would expect it to be. We're going back this November and hope it's just as we remember!

If you go to the Disney site, they don't list Tony's as serving breakfast. I was hoping to eat there for breakfast in October. If someone ate there for breakfast in September, shouldn't Disney list this restaurant as serving breakfast????

We ate lunch there last September & really enjoyed it. Great food & service! We are looking forward to eating there again this December, only this time Tigger will be joining us! ;)

We've been to Tony's for lunch during our last 2 visits. We loved sitting on the front porch and watching the people go by on Main St. The food was good. We did miss the Mickey shaped pizza the last time! I think it would be fun to eat there and have the Pooh characters visit too.

We ate there two different times in July this year and really enjoyed it. My son, who at 15 is difficult to fill up, just loved it. My husband and I tried a few of the appetizers rather than ordering full meals and will do that again. It may not have as many choices as some of the Parks' restaurants, but it has a bonus of being close to the MK Parade route--plan your lunch to bump up against the time of the parade and you can walk right out and get a front-row seat !!

Does Tony's have a verranda or something on main street ?
If so, thats a really good idea to have lunch then watch the parade.
I bet its full with ps' though

:jester: 67 to go :jester:

Several years ago it was good. So good in fact that I have the recipe for the house dressing. That was great! I make it for dinner guests and they love it.:) 5 days and counting.....

Well. perhaps we better try again. Those of you who enjoyed lunch there...what do you recommend?:D

We had dinner there on NYE, and it was pretty good. :) Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Anyone know if they still have the fried cheese on the dinner menu?

Get the vanilla milkshake!!!! I know this sounds strange for an Italian restaurant, but it was great! Comes in a take-home mug.

Our family loves this place for lunch!! We get the antipasto(huge), enough for two and very delicious. We also get the Tony's pizza which has barbecued chicken on it, oh YUM. My 14 yr. old insists on going back just for their chicken caesar salad (again, huge) and he absolutely loves it. I highly recommend Tony's for lunch!! And you can't beat the view.:smooth:

Tony's is a mainstay of our WDW food tour 8 trips this year and not one dissappointing meal. the Mushroom soup we had a few months ago was so good I... I ... I'm booking my plane ticket now!! enjoy

We ate at Tony's in 2000 and 2001. We won't go back. The food is okay, but nothing to rave about. The food is WAY overpriced, IMO! There are much better places to eat around MK...I'd pick Cindy's for lunch/dinner over Tony's on any day. :)
