Hi everyone, Right now I am thinking of canceling my dinner at TTS. It will just be for 2 adults and although we love the idea of eating in the park (hopefully outside) I sense from some other posts to my dining questions that the food is not so great. Any thoughts?

This should be one of Disney's best dining spots, I mean you enter MK and there is this great looking dining spot.It is not the food is average to poor and service is poor. This has been our experience on last 3 meals here.We will no longer dine here until Disney decides to make major improvments in food, service and management of Tony's.Cosmic Ray's food is far better than what is served at this dive.Wish I could say something nice about it, well on last visit it was clean.Sorry :goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

We ate there March 2nd for my DH and DBIL's birthday. We got a birthday decorated table with confetti and streamers. DH & I shared the spaghetti with sausage and DSIS had the childrens Mac & cheese, DBIL had the pesto pasta....food was good and they made a big fuss over the birthday boys, een bought them a free sundae....no complaints here other than we had to wait 20 minutes past our ADR time.

It is very disappointing. I think the Dis reviewer said it all. There are better Olive Gardens and Macaroni Grill is consistently better. I won't go there again for several years in hopes they fix it.

We've never had a meal as bad as Kevin did there. I know it gets some awful reviews but we like it and keep returning.

We ate there and really liked it. The food was good, though the service was a bit slow. We'd probably go back again.

I liked Tony's. Actually our server was very nice and prompt. The spaghetti and meat balls were just okay, but they had a sauteed chicken dish there with prosciutto and cheese that was seriously delicious. The caprese salad was good and so was the sun-dried tomato pesto. I also love anything Lady and the Tramp, so I guess that didn't hurt my overall experience. If you have never been there, then I say definately go and find out for yourself.

Some of my friends just came back from WDW and ate dinner at Tony's. They said that was the best meal!!! He loved the steak and said that it was the best steak he's ever had!!!

We are giving this a try in July. Even with the "substandard" reviews. I figure it this way some people will like it others will love it while some dislike it or hate it. Experiences vary like everything else so I decided to try for myself.

Our experience was similar. We loved our meal at Tony's. It was a spur of the moment decision to eat there. We had an ADR for Ohanas, but we didn't want to miss Spectro so we decided to try and find something in the park and eat a little earlier instead. We were told by the hostess outside to come back at 4:30-4:45 and see about getting seated as a walk-in. We did just that and got seated right at 5:00 (which is the time they opened that night for dinner). He hostess CM did tell us that we would likely be sitting outside since we didn't have ressies, but that was fine with us. Our meal was wonderful!! Seriously. Dh and I had the NY strip steak and it was awesome. I truly can't say enough about how delicious it was. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had. I don't remember what our kids had, but they were pleased. I do remember the server doing something extra special for dd. She wanted the kid's sundae that came with her meal, but she wasn't sure if she wanted all the toppings on it or not. So the server offered to bring everything separate so she could build it herself. She LOVED doing that! We had great and prompt service throughout our entire meal, and we would definitely eat there again.

On our last trip I thought about cancelling our ADRs for Tony's
because of the bad reviews--but my DS really wanted to eat there.
Boy, am I glad we didn't cancel because it was the best TS we had all
week--we were on the DDP and ate at 8 different restaurants.
We didn't order the typical spagitti or other traditional Italian Dishes.
We order Grilled Fish (excellent--cooked just right), Ny Strip Steak (very tender) and White Flatbread Pizza (DS loved it) and everything was very good!!
We did eat an early lunch at 11:30am and wonder because it was not busy yet if that is why we got such good food and service?
We are looking farward to eating there again this upcoming trip.
I wouldn't cancel your ADRs if I were you, I would give Tony's a chance
and decide for yourself if you like it or not!!
You may get the Best TS Meal of your whole trip!!!!:thumbsup2

We prefer lunch over dinner at Tony's, but certainly wouldn't NOT have a dinner there if you really want to. I would try to make one of the "first" seatings for dinner before it gets really crowded just so you have better service...it seems the service slack off at the dinner hour as it gets more crowded.

:thumbsup2

We ate dinner at Tony's in August. This turned out to be such a great surprize! This turned out to be one of our favorite TS meals of our trip! The food was great and our waiter was the best waiter we had. I'm Italian too! We will definitely go back there again.

Enjoy your meal. Everyone's taste is so different. We loved it! It is 100 times better than Momma Melrose at DHS. We really were disappointed in that one.

I ate there in 2003 when I was in Orlando for a WDW trip. I loved the fried goat cheese appetizer but otherwise I had spaghetti and meatballs (it was the classic, obvious choice) and it wasn't even good.

I've lived in Orlando for 2 years now and have never gone back there since 2003. There are other great restaurants at Walt Disney World. I'd say skip this one.

We ate there last May and plan on returning this May. The food was very good but the service was slow but since we were not in a hurry that was not an issue. Actually getting the check was the biggest length of time. Seems like maybe he didn't want to give it to us:confused3

We love dining at Tony's.

We enjoy the atmosphere and the food.

I got the steak and thought it was great. I also enjoyed my dessert.

My girls loved the pizza but I do not know if it's still on the kid's menu.

Thumbs up! :thumbsup2
