Tony's or The Plaza

Hi All,

We want to try a new restuarant at MK on our upcoming trip. Do you think we should try The Plaza or Tony's? Thanks for the advice!

I would pick Tony's. Although it isn't the best italian food, its on par with the Olive garden and the service is much better than the Plaza. The plaza has good food but its mostly sandwiches and such.
If you can/want to leave the park for dinner, I would pick Kona cafe or Grand Floridian cafe over those 2 (for a 1 TS or lower priced restaurant as opposed to the signatures).

I'd go by the menu, and what appeals to my family. Keep in mind the plaza will likely be a lighter meal, yet big on dessert.

DH and I love Tony's. We've never had a bad meal there and I guess I'm a sucker for Lady and the Tramp decor! The Plaza seems more like a counter service to me. Good luck!

I found the Plaza to be delightful on our last trip to the world! I think it gets overlooked, but the food was good, service was prompt and friendly, nice atmosphere....definately one we will go to again.

Tony's is a another story. The one *AND ONLY* time we were there the serivce was beyond slow and the food was cold -gross! I'm rarely one to not give a place a 2d chance, but it was such a bad experience, I decided that there were other places to try and why risk another bad experience. Seems like the best that is said is that its like the Olive Garden...seems like if on its best day its only as good as a mediocre chain that you can do better...KWIM?

It really depends what your family likes - different menus. We were just at the world in July and we used to love Tony's flatbread at lunch, but they changed the menu and the new flatbread is.....hmmm....how shall I put this....not good We were sooooo disappointed!! Maybe we were there on a bad day, who knows - but we won't be going back for a long while.

On the other hand, we also tried the Plaza and had one of our most enjoyable meals and great service too!!
