Tony's or The Plaza at MK?

This may be a duplicate thread, but what are your thoughts on Tony's or the Plaza at MK? What time would you make a reservation for if you want to eat and still have time to get a good spot for the SpectroMagic parde? Thanks!!!

Can anybody answer this question. I would also like to know can you view Spectro from either of these locations.

We like both. Depends on what you are in the mood for- the Plaza has lots of sandwiches and ice cream and Tony's has hot food. I have only done lunch at either of these.
Tony's front porch is a good spot to watch the parades. I don't know what time SpectroMagic is, so I can't really say when to go.

It depends on when you are going as to when to know when Spectromagic runs. I wouldn't depend on getting a table at either place to watch Spectromagic from at either restaurant. You might, but everyone else there wants the same thing. My advice would be to make AR's at the place that you choose ahead of Spectro. We really enjoy the Plaza Restaurant. Have never been to Tony's.

I have made an ADR for the Plaza restaurant, Spectromagic will pass when we're there. I'm hoping that some of it will be visible from the restaurant. We have seen Spectro many times so it will just be an added bonus

Plaza is very nice for lunch.

I wouldn't count on seeing very much of the parade from the restaurant. People line the streets and will block most of the view.

With that said, I far prefer The Plaza ...

We've been to Tony;'s twice and really didn't like it either time. We thought the first time may just have been a bad night, so we gave it a second chance.

Plaza is really just a sandwich/salad menu but we're always happy there. THe sandwiches and ice cream are really good. Much better than the $18 spaghetti and meatballs at Tony's!
