Tony's or Plaza Restaurant before MVMCP?

I realized way too late that they were allowing Priority Seatings for LTT earlier than the 60 day mark. So, we missed out on that one. We're still thinking of eating at MK before the party. I have to call Sunday for a PS.

Which is better to go to before MVMCP -- Tony's or the Plaza Restaurant? How's the food at both restaurants?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Have never eaten at the Plaza but we do Tonys at least once every trip. We love the food and the theme is fantastic as well...

We enjoy the Plaza. Good sandwichs and salads and great location at the castle end of Main St..

Just so you know...if Sunday is your 60 day out mark then try asking for LTT. I have read from other posters they called on the 60 day out mark and got their choice of times. Also, Tonys and the Plaza have their last seating at 5 the nights of MVMCP. CRT is at 6. HTH!!

I was able to get Tony's for 5:55 on December 1st, so they must take later seatings than 5:00.

I have not eaten at the Plaza, but a couple of years ago, my husband and I ate at Tony's before MVMCP. The food was okay, nothing exceptional. However, we did enjoy hanging out on the front porch waiting for the official "open" of MVMCP... and the walk down Main Street in the "snow" was something I will never forget - so magical I think I even teared up (what a wuss!).

Just a little note. We ate at Tony's in July. The food was good, but the waiter was HORRIBLE!!!! I can say that alot of the CMs during that trip were very unfriendly and not helpful. Actually, we had quite a few RUDE CMs. I would like to try Tony's again to see if we can get a better waiter because the food was good. Good luck on your decision.

By the way J. Galt~ I cried too when I saw the snow. It was great to see it snowing in the 80 degree weather last December.

we went to tonys last year before the mvmcp and and were able to watch the tree lighting cermony before the party. the food was great also

We are going to try for Tony's on Sun also (you must be going on the 12th?) from those attending MNNSHP. I have heard that they had their PS times changed because they were not allowing PS past 6pm. Which is fine with me. I am thinking 5:30-5:45 should give us plenty of time before the party starts.
