tony's or mama melrose?

i haven't been to tony's in years, i stick with mama melrose, i LOVE the atmosphere and the food is good!

I enjoy Tony's the only thing I miss there is the wine.

We went to Mama Melrose's last year and really enjoyed it. DH and I both really enjoyed our food, especially desserts. They had some good choices for kids, my DD left full and happy. I liked the atmosphere, too - it was all around a great meal.

Are you going to try to catch Fantasmic? If so, you should see if you could book the Fantasmic dinner package with Mama Melrose's. Its included on the dining plan, and you get an appetizer, entree, and dessert for each person. Plus you get preferred seating for Fantasmic. We did this last September and are hoping to do it again this year!

We have done both places for lunch and dinner and Tonys is much better but...Tutto beats the pants off of both of them

We're trying Tonys for the first time this August. I've had one good experience at Mama Melrose's and one really bad experience there. Food is so ridiculously expensive at WDW that I hate to take a chance and have a second bad experience someplace. If it had just been the service I would take a chance, but the food was really not good....my pasta was actually overcooked and almost burned, and my dd's chicken parm was close to inedible..had a very strange taste to it. Did we mention it to our server? Nope. She never appeared once our food had been delivered. She looked at our unfinished meals when she brought the check, shrugged and walked away. Never, not once, asked how our food was. I just won't go back.

We've never been to Mama's but we loved Tony's. We had one of the best waiters there too!

Do you have to go to one of those two? There are better places to eat in Disney.

I had a good experience at Mama's, although I have heard it can be inconsistant.

I think Tony's is a waste of space in the MK.

I've eaten at both. I had a steak at Tony's that I would call inedible. Everything I've had at Mama Melrose's has been great.
