Tony's or Liberty Tree Tavern

This newby, who hasn't been to WDW in 20 years, needs some help. Myself, my wife and 10 yr. old son are on the Dining Plan for our trip the end of October. Currently have an ADR at Tony's, but I don't like the time, 8:15pm. The Main Street Electrical Parade stars at 8:00. I just found an earlier opening at Liberty Tree Tavern that would allow us to see the parade. Have never eaten at either of these places. What would you do?

Tony's and miss the parade?
Liberty and see the parade?

LTT and see the parade, without question. Tony's is pretty lousy Italian food. There are better places on property for Italian and I am sure much better places where you live.

Hmm I like Tonys....and I haven't been to liberty tree in yyyyyyyyyeeeears. I hear good things about it. If this is the only time to see the parade then I would eat at Liberty tree. Don't miss the parade for Tonys..its good but the parade is better.

I definitely suggest ditching Tony's and go for LTT!

Thanks! I originally picked Tony's because the menu "looked" good. And this was before I found this board too. I think I am going to go with LTT and the parade.

That might be our only time to see the parade. The parade is running on our last day in WDW also. But we are trying to leave that day/night open to hit our favorites from the week.

Let me set this straight when I say I like Tonys... I mean I like it like I like Olive Garden...the bonus of OG is you have never ending salad....

That's why we're here.

Normally I would say "if you already booked Tony's you should try it" but we are parade people and if that's your only chance of seeing the MSEP, that takes priority, IMO.
