Tony's for Parade?

Someone posted that they like to eat at Tony's while watching the parade. What time would I need an ADR to do that for the afternoon parade?

1) 60-90 minutes ahead of time.
2) You need to have a window seat or porch seat (which others also want).
3) Otherwise, you have no view of the parade.

I have a 2:30 ADR. I'm guessing that anyone who has a table on the porch or at a window won't leave at 2:30 they'll stay so they can watch the parade right?

I can make a 1:10 or 1:50 ADR but our group might be seated at separate tables. I guess that's o.k. because we'd have a better chance of some of us getting on the porch?

Just be aware that you cannot move outdoors to watch the parade. Only those seated there are the only ones that can be on that terrace. We ate at Tony's xmas week last year and were seated in the consevatory room and had a great view of Specto during our meal as it rounded the circle. some people from within the other part of the restaurant tried to stand by the windows or go outside and CM stopped them and said they had to return to their table. the parade floats for the night parade are high enough to see from the conservatory room, don't know about the afternoon one. You can request to be seated outdoors or in the conservatory, but it is not guarenteed.

We ate there in March and had a 2:45pm ADR and was able to be seated outside, however my DH and I both had on our Anniversary buttons so that may of helped us with eating outside. When we go in December (my B-day trip) we have a 2:40pm ADR and are going to request to sit outside for the parade....if we don't get it, no worries but it is really very nice if you are able to.
