Just a brief report on some of the meals we had on our recent trip.
Tony's Town Square-
There were certainly a number of mixed reviews on this when I started looking at it, but I just had to try it. We had it for lunch on our first day at the park. The setting was very nice and the servers were also quite friendly and helpful. We started with soup and salad (DS and I shared a salad, DW and DD each had soup) The two soups were very good - I tasted them both and thought the Minestrone was a bit better. The garden salad was a very basic one with mixed greens , tomatoes, croutons, feta, etc. (just like DS likes it) and had a good Italian dressing on it (but a bit too much, I think I would order the dressing on the side next time).
For entrees, I had the vegetable calzone, DS had the baked ziti, DD&DW split an order of pasta primavera. The were all very good - quite a bit of garlic (but what is good Italian food without garlic?). The ziti and the calzone came with their basic marinara sauce. Some on the boards have said it was terrible but we all liked it. It is slightly sweet with small chunks of tomato and a good blend of garlic, onion, and italian seasonings. The calzone was filled with very tasty mozarella along with a load of musrooms, olives, onions, and pieces of plum tomatoes. I would have liked a few less mushrooms and bit more variety in the filling (e.g. broccoli, zuchini, etc.) but it was still VERY tasty. My son loved the baked ziti with cheese and meat sauce, and the primavera was very nicely done.
The atmosphere there was also very cozy, and we ate from the sun room which had a nice view of the family fun parade as they marched by. The conclusion - we really liked Tony's!
Boma's-
We made reservations here for an early dinner right after the park closed. No question here - we all thought it was great. A wonderful selection for everyone! DS liked the flatbread and hummus, the ribs, and the mac and cheese. DW and I loved the lentil stew, the beef, the chicken, the spiced potatoes, the meat pie, and the couscous. I loved the watermelon rind salad - lots of tasty ginger! DD liked the nice selction of both meat and vegetable entress. And we all loved the deserts (ooh that pineapple upside down cheesecake.....). This one got a big thumbs up from everyone.

Tie-dye cheesecake (At POP).
Words can't describe the colors in this cheesecake (most of which can't be found in the natural world). The cheesecake is delicious - velvety cheesecake over a red velvet cake. Smooth and tasty. No words to describe the intensity of colors - so here's a picture....
