Tony Romas?

Anybody been there? Opinions?

The other half loves ribs well I suppose he is a real carnivore and loves any meat.

So wondering if this is the place to go?

Hi,
This is one of favourite restaurants. We went there last month and the food and service were great. I had the rib and steak combo and my better half had salmon. If you look in some the flyers you can get discount coupons. One further piece of advice just go there hungry..!

If you are in the I-Drive area, another good place for ribs is Wild Jacks - DH reckons they were better than Tony Romas, although we love TRs as well

Just looked at Smokey bones menu, my mouth is watering, looks like somewhere new to try for us

I agree I've ate ribs at both tony romas and wild jacks, both great but tony romas were better

Smokey Bones is a chain owned by Orlando-based Darden Restaurants (Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze, Olive Garden). The restaurants around Orlando have done well and they remain open but the chain has not done well outside of Florida and they are closing restaurants outside the state. Try them while you can; it's a bit more upscale than Tony Roma's and much more upscale than Sonny's BBQ. You all need to try Sonny's if you haven't!!

I had ribs at 6 different places last summer, one of them being tony romas. By far the best ones were at NBA City. The Cheesecake Factory was quite good also.
