Tony’s Recommendations

I enjoy a beer or two at the theme parks and TS is my only option at the Magic Kingdom. I‘m also avoiding indoor dining right now and Tony’s looks to be the only restaurant that offers this. Right now I have three ADRs at Tony’s for my September trip and am looking for recommendations for two lunches and a dinner. I’m aware of the poor reviews but food is really secondary to the option to sit outside and have a cold one. Is anything there that you’d recommend? I don’t care for steak but am otherwise pretty open. Jungle Skipper is my usual go-to.

Thanks!

Edited to add: I WILL be having lunch at Tony’s. The food is a secondary consideration but it would be nice to hear which dishes are better than others from those who’ve been recently.

Unless something has changed I don’t think Tony’s serves alcohol. I could be mistaken.

They definitely sell beer and wine. I had a couple of Peronis and an extremely mediocre chicken Caesar salad last Thursday.857EA5AB-9A79-44C7-9797-8512640773E7.jpeg

Usually enjoy the spaghetti and meatballs or chicken parm with tiramisu for dessert.

Wow, that looks like a really sad and unappetizing salad. Looks like not much has changed at Tony's.

My only recommendation for Tony’s is two avoided at all cost
I agree with this. If the spag/meatballs and chicken parm havent changed since ive been, i'd definitely avoid this place. The meatballs were so bad i had a hard time swallowing it. No joke!

I’m going no matter what, it’s my only option for outdoor TS in the MK. I don’t expect great food but it would be nice to hear from those who’ve been.

Hi jsmla: We ate at Tony;s a couple of years ago and loved the food. They got a new chef who was fantastic, as Tony's always got bad reviews and we were concerned about eating there. Now I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. I had the chicken parm which was delicious. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was cooked perfectly. The service was great, and we really liked the atmosphere. Hope you enjoy it:)

I always get the Scampi pasta. It is really tasty. Took a bite of my kids' pizza and it wasn't bad either.

I actually really enjoy their spaghetti and meatballs!

We have also enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parmesan and the flatbread pizzas one time were amazing and one time a little mediocre.

My friend had to cancel her trip in August,. Had a reservation at Tony's at 6:45 - park closes at 7., Thought that would be neat to come out and take our picture in an empty park.

We ate at Tony's last week and enjoyed the food for the most part. Our favorite was the fried mozzarella appetizer. We liked the bread and the spaghetti and meatballs. My daughter's cheese pizza was disappointing though, sort of limp and soggy. I hope you enjoy your meal.

I agree that the fried mozzarella sticks were good. My granddaughter likes the chicken parmigiana. We have eaten there twice and I didn’t care for the spaghetti. The second time I got a individual pizza and it was giant. It was about a 12 or 14 inch size. I only ate two pieces. It was halfway good, I didn’t care for the pickled olives on it though.
My granddaughter wants to eat there so I cave in.
Next time I’m ordering the child size pizza.

We have not had a chance to eat there since the new chef took over. Based on previous meals, I would agree with the avoid at all costs.
If you must eat there, avoid the red sauce. It was just nasty.
Hoping things have gotten better with the new chef. However, listening to the Dis Unplugged reviews, it seems like not a lot of change.
