Tonight's the Night

:grouphug:
I remember bawling my eyes out last year when I read about your terrible loss last year.
Everytime I read a post of yours and see the picture of your beautiful girl, I tear up, my daughter is 7 also, and just even the fleeting thought..my heart just breaks for you.:sad1:
How is your son? I think about him often, as well. To lose not only his sister, but his twin.
I know I don't know you, but please know that I keep you and yours in my prayers.
You handle yourself with such grace, I've thought it since your first post after the fire, you are a true inspiration.:grouphug:

:grouphug:

Sherry, I am so very sorry sweetie and can't imagine the heartache you've endured since losing your beautiful little Macy :sad1:. May planting the tree and doing some of her favorite things on her anniversary bring you some peace. May all her sweet memories in your heart help guide you as your angel smiles from above. I send prayers and hope you and your son are getting stronger one day at a time and your new marriage brings you and DH much hope for the future. Godspeed ^i^

Man, I remember the day we learned of your loss so vividly. I can't believe it's already been a year since you lost her.

Your strength is amazing - it sounds as if you're celebrating her life today in such a wonderful way. Thanks for sharing her with us.

You and your family are in my mind and heart, frequently... God Bless...

Sorry, but can someone link me to the post where OctoberBeauty first told about the loss of her daughter? I have done a search and it didn't work for me. Thank you.

Hugs to you and your family.
Very odd this morning, something woke me up at exactly 4:45 am EST and I could not go back to sleep. I just stayed in bed though, if I had seen this earlier I would have stayed up with you.

My thoughts are with you, your family & also with Macy. :grouphug:

I lost my dad in a house fire when I was 10. I am so sorry for your loss. Macy is such a beautiful child. Your website brings me to tears. Please take care. :grouphug:

Omgoodness. All of you have me in tears. Thank you so much for the support. It really means a lot to me to have you stop and think of us, Macy, and fire safety. Makes it hurt just a teensy bit less to know that her passing has helped others to bond a little more or be a little more thankful.
Thank you. :flower3: :grouphug:

 I wish I had words that could make your pain lessen. Macy was so loved and will be in your heart forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I love Macy's "myspace" page, it brought tears to my eyes. She was a very special little girl and is surely missed. :grouphug:

I won't even insult you with saying I know how you feel, because I know that there is no way I could ever feel the pain you feel. I am so sorry for your loss the pain that you have had to endure for the last year. I know your son has missed her terribly as well. I don't know you, but I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I said a prayer for you and your family and for your little girl today. I pray that you somehow find peace, I can only imagine how difficult today is for you.

You know, I have never "chatted" with you before....but, I want you to know how often you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is no consolation, but you have changed my family. We recently moved to a house where our bedroom is downstairs, and my daughter's bedroom (she is 5) is up. I explained to my husband that she will NOT be allowed to sleep in her bedroom until she knows how to attach a fire escape ladder, and use it without fear. Until that time, she will sleep in a bed in our bedroom.

I know that nothing can replace your dd, and I cannot even imagine how hard this has been for you....but, I want you to know that sharing your story may save many other children. I know that doesn't mean a lot....but, I bet it would make your daughter happy to know that.

My prayers are with you (more than you know)

Just bumping this back up to say Thank You to everyone that posted. It really helped me get through the night to be able to come her and read the comments.

I think I'm finally caught up on sleep. Went to bed at 7 am Monday morning and 5 am Tuesday morning, but I was able to go to sleep last night and slept in this morning, so I'm feeling much better today.

Just still in shock that it's been a year. This time last year I was in a coma fighting for my life. That's just so weird to think about.

Thanks again. :grouphug:

Sweetie, my heart just breaks for you and all you have been through. I think you have showed all of us what real courage is. Take care of yourself.

Continued prayers for you and your family on this sad anniversary. You know that someone is always here if you need a shoulder.
