Tonight's the Night! New Camera!!*GOT IT*!!

Well, after going back and forth about if i wanted to upgrade my camera now, i have decided that due to the sale at CC i am going to be getting my new camera tonight!
I *think* the one i will choose will be the Panasonic DMC-FZ7K, 6MP; 12x optical zoom
On sale for $360 INCLUDING a 2 GB card!

Well, i ended up getting a different camera, b/c i am a sony user now, i was more drawn to the sony, and decided to get the Sony H5!! I will try to post pics later, but so far, I think i am gonna really like this camera!

just make sure you hold it and play around with it before you buy..i was surprised how many i didn't like the feel of( maybe it's just my pickiness) due to size, controls etc...i ended up buying one i hadn't initially considered( due to pricebeing more) cause it felt the best plus had the best features for me.

Jann.. That is EXACTLY what happened last night.. I played with the Panasonic, but because i have a Sony already, i was much more drawn to the Sony H series.. I loved the H5 , but b/c of the higher cost i thought it was out..
However, i brought dad with me, and he "donated" the extra $ as my early bday gift (bday is next mo) So, i ended up with the Sony H5!! I have already played with it and will try to post some shots later!

Aren't dad's wonderful ! Congratulations on your new purchase. Post some pics when you get some. I just bought the Canon S3 alittle over a week ago and I'm having a ball playing around with it !!!!

i think that is why i liked canons best...not that your dad donated to me, just i was familar with it...although if it would make him feel good he can donate to hubby's s2 if he wants
