Tongue Spliting ( Along With Piercing Thread)

After reading the thread about piercings, what do you think about this latest fad of splitting the tongue.

Oh, that will lool real nice when it tries to kiss its grandchild in 40 years. I can hear the little child saying, Mommy, Grandparent scares me. It looks like a snake. Please don't make me kiss it. (I use "it" because I don't even know what sex that vile thing was.) On the plus side, it would make scary old toothless Aunt Gertrude appear less frightening when she forgets her dentures again.

Also, it would be quite effective at landing a job in corporate America. Eeeuuww

This is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. On a talk show about 5 years ago, there was a guy who was trying to morph himself into a lizard. He had tattooed about 95% of his body with scales, had split his tongue, had eyebrow implants, and had his teeth filed into spikes. He said if they could figure out a way to do it, he wanted a tail attached. The tongue splitting is especially disturbing because he can move each side of the split, it is really gross.

All I could think was, what kind of doctor listens to such a disturbed person and mutilates their body for them instead of sending them to a psychiatrist for some badly needed therapy?? The doctors who perform these mutilations should have their license taken away. I mean, if I decided that I didn't want one of my arms anymore, is there really a doctor out there who would take my money and remove it for me?? It's scary to think about what kind of Frankenstein doctors there are out there..

I saw that guy on some Discovery channel show. At least, I assume it's the same guy, I'd hate to think there are 2 of them out there! This show also had a guy who was "transforming" himself into a tiger, whiskers & all.
