Tonga Toast - To Go?

We're staying at the CR and I was wondering if I can hop on the monorail to the Poly and get some Tonga Toast and coffee and bring it back to the CR to eat in the room?

We arent early risers as a group, but I thought I could run and surprise everyone!

Would I go to Captain Cook's or Kona Cafe for the Tonga Toast?

And coffee at Kona Island Coffee Bar?

We stayed at the Poly, and my dh brought me tonga toast from Capt Cooks, back to the room, yum, I am craving it right now!!!!

Yup, Captain Cook's would be the easiest and quickest way to get your Tonga Toast fix.

Since it's basically fried bread, it really is best eaten HOT. Not sure how long it would take to get back to the CR from the Poly.

I agree that Captain Cooks would probably be easiest to pick up your Tonga Toast, but you might just want to grab a table and eat it there.

Oh man it is so good. That is what we do. Just go to Captain Cooks and pick it up!

But, basically I just want to try it without sitting down for breakfast. I thought I could get up a little early and go get it while everyone else gets ready, etc.

That would be easier than having everyone go to Poly for breakfast. We already have a few breakfasts scheduled and I thought this would be the easiest way to try it.

If the monorail has no delays you should be able to get back to CR in less than 10 mins. Make sure to ask for some to go containers.

OMG! Tonga Toast is sooooooo good ! I can't wait to get it again.
