Tomtom map sale - US maps half price

Hi, thought this might help anyone planning on getting maps for their sat nav, the tomtom site has a 50% off sale at the moment so the US (and US & Canada maps) are down to £14.95!

We have just bought them for our upcoming trip, nearly bought them last weekend at full price, thankfully we waited a few days!

Thought it might help anyone hiring a car out there!

I have quite an old Tom Tom. Do you think it would accept this card if I buy it? I'm due to give my friend $150 to buy me a U.S. Tom Tom tomorrow so could save a pile here. Don't want to buy something that won't work though. Our Tom Tom is well over 10 years old....

If you go on the site it asks you what model you have (enter the serial number if you're not sure) and it will then display the maps suitable for your model. The older ones you download to a sd card but the newer ones you just download by usb

Yeah you will be ok to use it on a 10 year old Tom Tom.
Mine is old and i still update with US maps.
