I have a typical Native foot. Extra wide, high arches with the big bump on top. According to the foot measuring thing-ums at the stores, I am an 8 E on one foot and a 7 EE on the other foot. So I usually wind up buying 9.5 to 10 standard shoes and just dealing with it. I recently bought 2 pairs of Toms thanks to the DIS boards in size 7 mens.

Normally, when I am on my feet walking for miles and miles every day (like say, at WDW ;)) I will get at least 2 or 3 blisters no matter how comfortable my shoes are or how broken in they are or whether or not I've used blister block, mole skin or breathable socks.

This year, I've worn my Toms every day. We're on day 7 tomorrow of the vacation (this includes an 11 hour day on Tuesday for MNSSHP); I have yet to get a blister.

This is a minor miracle to me.

 :yay:  :yay: :dance3:

It doesn't seem like the Toms would be good park shoes. They are just canvas with an insert and very thin soles. However, they mold to the shape of your foot quickly and apparently those thin and the nice insert are just enough support.

I am extremely happy and have become an avid Toms wearer! When we get back home, I will be on the prowl for an additional pair of these miracle shoes. :goodvibes
