Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Buffet (wishes)

Hi,

We were able to book this next month, but it seems like you can have a vastly different experience depending on where your table is. Is there any way to better assure that we get seated towards the front with a better view? Or is it just show up and early and be polite when requesting of the cast member who is checking us in?

When I went last July, we were there over an hour before wishes, so we'd eaten our fill, then everyone went right up to the railing to watch celebrate the magic, I'd reccomend a member if your party who finishes to stand by the railing a few minutes before Celebrate the magic starts so you have a good spot saved to watch from. Then just stay there until wishes.

It was our experience that seating assignments are given in the order the reservations were made. Your table has already been assigned to you before you even check in at the podium.

I haven't done it, but I did walk by on the way out the park during Wishes. I saw all the desserts and stuff and basically everyone there was standing up at the railing and not at their tables. So I'm sure everyone will still be at the railing and table seating won't matter.

However even if you stay at the tables, it looked like every table had a good view

This was true in my experience too.

Personally, I had a "good" table up front because I made the reservation as soon as they opened them, and the view was still mostly obstructed.

Seat assignments are done prior to check-in. don't worry about things, everyone that isn't seated at the first row just goes to the railing.

Reservations open up 180 days in advance. I have a reservation for January 15, 2015.

Everyone stands at the railing. There is plenty of room to see. We were in a table by the buffet, in the front line of tables and still stood up to see the shows.
Tables are pre-set prior to arrival with your party name on a little tag. The cast member walks you to your assigned table after you sign-in.
We loved it. Hope you enjoy!

We just did the party in June. I was initially upset at our table assignment b/c it was obstructed by a column. However, when everyone started moving to the railing before the start, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It was full but no one had to stand behind each other. We really enjoyed it and would definitely do it again.

This was one of my favorite things that we did on our last trip. We also did the pirates and pals fireworks voyage on a different night of the same trip and it was awful in comparison. I LOVE the fireworks and wanted to see everything well so we stood at the railing even though we could see from our table. Some of my extended family stayed seated at the table and could see most of it. It seemed like our table was pre-assigned cause we were close to the front even though we were one of the last groups in the door. I know I booked mine very close to when booking came open for it so I guess that is why.

Likely sold out. With MVMCP taking up a few nights of the week, Wishes becomes more popular during this time so the dessert party usually sells out near the 180 day mark. Keep checking as something could open up.

They put tables for two up front, so that's where we have gotten sat each time we have done the dessert party. Yeah, people stand in front of us, but we have still been able to see the fireworks from our seats. Last time though, we had a guy shooting the show with his iPad and held it up so that people behind him had a hard time seeing. That was a little disappointing. Still, we like the desserts and not having to truly fight for a spot to watch the fireworks.
