Tomorrowland Skyway Station Rennovation

I read on another website that the Tomorrowland Skyway Station is undergoing a rehab. Supposedly changing the stairs to the second level. I wonder why they are doing this? I haven't heard of this extinct attraction coming back. I wonder what's going on.

I was just reading the new issue of "Celebrations" magazine. They are discussing some of the celebrations for next year and in a letter on page 2 it says in future issues they will "also take a look at tributes to closed attractions that you can find throught the parks".

Perhaps there will be a "tribute" to the skyway and this is part of it?

Yea I was just there and there is a big tarp over one side of it. It didn't look like much was going on, but the bathrooms are still open there.

It's about time they dod something with that. Abandoned buildings always creep me out. The only way I would be happier is if they were bringing back the Skyway.

What is the tomorrowland skyway station?

It's the white structure next to Space Mountain that has the water running down one side, and appears to serve no purpose.
