we'll be in Disneyland in July and I'm wonderingly if they have the Tomorrowland pin for sale there. My kids really want one but I'm not inclined to pay the inflated eBay prices and shipping.

I don't recall seeing any Tomorrowland (movie) pins in the pin shops over the Memorial Day weekend, but the shops were pretty much focusing on the new 60th anniversary pins. So they could have been there and I just didn't see them.

I do not know.

I repeat ... I do not know.

But it always seemed like Disney would push the merchandise and promotion before the movie is released but quickly discontinue right at the movie release date. Everything seems to drive that first weekend box office.

Just to clarify...one of the monorails currently has a skin on it featuring Tomorrowland (movie). There is also still the movie preview and display in Tomorrowland. As others have mentioned, I did not see very much merchandise for the movie in the parks over the Memorial Day weekend, but I don't know how much of that is because the parks had put all of the 60th merchandise. I would look at the Star Traders as being the shop that has the highest likelihood of having some Tomorrowland (movie) merchandise.

As of a few days ago, Disney Movie Rewards had the Tomorrowland pin as a reward. I think it was 600 points.

As of Friday, they were sold out. My husband was searching for it. They had not restocked by yesterday.

we were told that Star Trader would have them, but they were sold out when we asked. they did have Tomorrowland shirts, though.

DMR? That's usually a clearance house for leftover promotional items. Stock will come and go as they find a spare case here and there.

As far as most in-park items, I doubt they restock anything. They usually only stock to promote a movie. And, unfortunately, considering it's poor box office showing domestically and overseas, Disney won't be fronting capital for new Tomorrowland merchandise right now.

I'll add the caveat...thanks to trading, pins always have a market, no matter the source material. And the film itself features heavily around the pin. So...I do expect they'll offer more pins, maybe more this summer and/or when the film goes to home video.

But, the best most of us can do is speculate.

There are many different Tommorowland pins, the most common type were given away at many theaters on opening day (also at comic conventions and auto shows). The lower center and left pins are examples of these 1" pins, which are very common on eBay. These can be bought for under $10 (with some searching).

The 2 upper pins are licensed products made by Funko. They have a gold (rather than silver finish) and are larger (1 1/4"). Entertainment Earth (and other sites) sell these for $5.

The lower right pin is a fan made replica found on Etsy (no longer listed).

Disney has sold large pins (similar to the upper right) in the parks, but might be sold out.

and the two funko ones are the movie accurate ones. the one with the blue background is the one young Frank was given at the World's Fair, and the one with the orange background and overflowing T is what Casey had.

Latest is that the pins will come back to Tomorrowland in July.
This came from a CM working the pin shop in Tomorrowland / Astroblasters exit.

Hot Topic sells the Funko pins pictured above. They are the most accurate in terms of what the pins looked like in the movie. They are sold out online- or they were last week, but some of the stores still have them in stock if you have the local stores. We picked up a few last Friday. DD and I collect Disney pins, but DH has never had any interest in them at all until he saw the Tomorrowland movie. Then, he wanted one of those pins.

I have never been to DL, but in my most recent trip to WDW, I acquired a pin, that looks a lot like the one on the bottom of the picture above (which I wore when I saw the movie in theaters. I got many strange looks!). I traded with a CM when I was in Disney Springs, and the back was not official. The pin does not have the markings of an average Disney pin, just ©Disney 2015, without the official pin trading logo. Maybe it's real, maybe not.

Good luck finding one!

UPDATE: I just realized that the day I got it was the first day Tomorrowland was in theaters. Maybe someone saw the movie, got the pin, traded with a CM, who later traded with me!

No DL itself was sold out as of Fri and had not restocked as of Sunday

FYI, it looks like this is the one sold at the parks. seems to be a mashup of all three. not a big fan of this one.
