Tomorrowland packed before MVMCP and getting in early?

ASSUMING that we would be "herded" into Tomorrowland before the 7pm start of MVMCP, will it be packed-- making lines for Space Mountain and Buzz not worth the wait-- or not so bad (because most don't realize they can be in the park before 7)??

Also, I keep seeing posts that you can get into the park around 4 using only your MVMCP ticket. Does this vary depending on the CM you encounter at the turnstyle? I will not use a day on my hopper that day, but want to enter ASAP. Worst case we will take a trip on the Monorail, or boat to kill time if we are turned away at 4, but would really like to get in early. Just wondering if I would need to kill 1/2 hour and then try to approach a different CM, or if it will be standard for the entire front gate.

Of course the CM on the phone when I ordered tix said that I would have to wait until close to 7 to get in, but I assume that is just the "official" line.

Will the resort staff know if we are likely to be allowed in at 4, or will they also just give the official line?

I realize that policies may change every year so I am just being pesimisstic that it sounds to good to be true that we will be able to get in to MK 3 hours early!

I was there last year and would not call it "herded". We were in Frontierland around 6:00pm, we just casually walked over to Tomorrowland because we knew it would be open. It was not crowded, walked on most rides. Now this was a Tuesday, the second week. A soldout Friday night may be different.

They had special turnstiles setup at 4:00pm, right side as you face MK. We had no problem getting in around 4:15.

Even though it sounds too good to be true, there is a reason they do this. They are trying to spread out the crowds entering so that the security line does not backup at 7:00pm.
