....Welcome the "Tomorrowland Terrace!"

It's about time they ended that Noodle Station experiment.

I was sorry to see it come and am glad to see it go.

Was it ever open to begin with?

I still miss the Adventureland Verandah.

You mean, welcome back Tomorrowland Terrace. I never saw it open during my trips before or after the place was the Noodle Station.

I actually liked the noodle dishes. I may be in the minority, but it was nice to get something "different" than burgers and chicken fingers.

At least I still have CHH for QS meals in MK.

We really liked it when it first opened, but each time it would close for an extended period they would take menu items off or make them more simpler and bland.

I'm disappointed to see it go, but they certainly never kept it going long enough to really become great. Maybe it's better this way.

I'm disappointed to see it go. I liked having another option (we must be lucky because it has been open for several of our trips) besides burgers.

The name change is nice but I'm uncertain if it will stay open for good past the holiday season. I read someplace that it will be open just throught the end of the year for the busy holiday season. I guess we will find out later. It would be nice to for it to stay open year round.

I would love to have tried the noodles!! It was never bloody open when I was there!!!!!

I didn't think it ever actually lost the name "Tomorrowland Terrace", and the name "Noodle Station was tacked on when it re-opened with the existing menu. And it has been seasonal since then.

There is also the Dessert Party, which takes place at the Tomorrowland Terrace - they don't use the name Noodle Station for that.

So are they really dropping the Noodle Station? What's the menu then? I haven't heard anything about any major change, other than perhaps saving us from noodles and Publix sushi and just not opening it any more...

Something was bothering me about this thread, and I didn't know what it was till I figured it out today.

When the Magic Kingdom first opened, the Tomorrowland Terrace was the restaurant located where Cosmic Rays Starlight Café is now. The current Tomorrowland Terrace's former name was the Plaza Pavillion and for many years was a part of Main Street!

Ok. I feel better now.

I never knew that. Somewhere in the deep dark recesses of my mind I have a vague recollection of Cosmic Ray's before Ray and I believe you're right about the name. Can't say I have any recall of the TT before its current name though.

Although it was a few years before our first visit, I do recall the flipping of the names, sometime around when they did the big Tomorrowland makeover.

People probably can't remember the previous incarnation of the terrace as it was just as forgettable then as it is now. :)
