Tom Sawyer Island closed until late September

Boo Hoo....My kids really wanted to check this out....I just found out today it is not rescheduled to re-open until 09/25/04.

I'm not sure but I thought it was scheduled to be closed last week. However, when I was at the MK on 5/27 and on 5/28, it was open both days. So I don't know what's happening with it.

Please say it isn't so! I love Tom Sawyer Island! It's such a nice break from the crowds!

Yep, I just saw this on Disneys site...
"Tom Sawyer Island will not be operating July 25 - September 25, 2004 however we recommend Swiss Family Treehouse as an alternative during this time."

Luckily for us, our trip ends on the 25th so we should get to visit TSI. We just went there for the first time on our last trip in December and my kids really enjoyed it. Id hate for it to be closed now that we discovered it.
