Unlikely to happen. TSI literally faces PotC at DLR, so it makes more sense there.I'm sure I'm not the first person to suggest this, but I'm suprised Disney hasn't rethemed the island for PotC.
Well... except for the Pirates' League opening later this month.I think there's enough POTC already, and with it's popularity waning, I don't see anymore likely.

TSI is a lovely place for a picnic.I would love it if Aunt Polly's sold a "picnic in the park" meal like at AK and then people could easily picnic on TSI. Ice cream would be nice to buy over there, too.
Ditto! TSI would be a great place for a picnic and to give kids a break to "be kids" and just run around for awhile!

Closed for good since 2005 or so.Is Aunt Poly's closed for good or is it only open seasonally?
Yeah! Unlike the Jungle Cruise. Or Space Mountain. Or the TTA. Or the Tomorrowland Speedway. Or "it's a small world'. Or the Carousel of Progress. Or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Or Soarin'. Or Journey into Imagination. Or Test Track. Or Spaceship Earth...I agree with the PP who stated that it would be nice to have an attraction WITHOUT a movie tie-in.
As a book lover, I just have to say: this post is full of Win.This year, we're reading both Tom Sawyer and the Swiss Family Robinson before we go. Maybe they'll help him like the attractions more, but even if they don't, he'll still enjoy himself.
No, it's closed permanently. It usually is only open during peak times, same deal like at the noodle station and diamond horseshoe
Believe it or not, I've actually heard of such a thing being talked about.I know this would sound sacreligous to some, but how about a permanent retractable bridge (to allow the steamboat to pass by) to TSI where you can get on and off, carry food easily onto the Island.
