Tolls?

a little warning . . .

with the expansion of electronic tolling many toll booths are being rebuilt to a new style - and new ones are in this new style:

The main lanes go straight thru with no booths or anything, no need to slow down ... all there is, is an overhead structure holding the the gizmos and cameras to make this work. THE CASH LANES are separated from the main lanes and to many look like an EXIT . . . :sad2:

If you are paying cash KEEP RIGHT and read signs carefully!!!!

(older toll stations have many individual lanes and one or two, usually on the left, are label SUNPASS ONLY)

Yes, that's a lot of extra work for someone on vacation.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I will say that we've left items in rental cars before and it is a big hassle to get them back, if you're lucky enough to have someone be honest and turn it in.

Generally speaking about how much can you expect to pay in tolls for a 2 axle car from the top of FL to Disney?

Hello all, can you please tell me around how much tolls are coming I95 Georgia to Walt Disneyworld. We are actually going to make it our first road trip from Long Island, NY but every toll source says there are no tolls after VA?? But I must be missing something. So, can someone tell me. So, I can see if it cost effective to do the tedious drive, or take some other mode of transportation. Thank you all:goodvibes

If you stay on 95 to I4, there aren't any tolls.

And if you're coming from the top of Florida via I-75, the toll on the Turnpike from Wildwood (where the Turnpike begins) to I-4 is just $3.00. I-75 itself is free.

Here is what most mainline toll plazas around Orlando look like, as described above. Those with EPASS or SunPass transponders remain on the main roadway at highway speeds while those paying cash exit to the right, stop and pay and then return back onto the mainline.

There's also a big overhead sign one mile before the toll plaza telling you to keep right for cash tolls.

(Good find, King Bob!)
