Toll question

We'll be taking 417 to exit 6 to 535/536. I understand there are two tolls for $1.25 each. Can anyone tell me if there are designated cash or fastpass lanes or does each lane take both? I know this sounds trivial but I stress about things like this. Thanks.

The cash lanes are on the right hand side. The fastpass lanes continue on thru the left hand side. The farthest right hand side booth is for exact change only if I remember correctly.

If you are paying cash, then you will take an "exit" ramp to the booths and then re-enter the freeway while those with transponders continue "straight" on the freeway.

Where are you entering 417? The cash only lanes, as OP have said, are to the right.

We will be coming from the airport. I saw the satellite shot of the to tolls on Google maps. So I was able to see the layout. I think I'm good to go .

The Wikipedia article about TOLL 417 has a picture of a toll plaza taken from ground level. The photo is from one of the toll plazas you won't be using but the concept is exactly the same. You exit the main road. Staffed lanes are to the far right (staffed 24/7) if you need change; if you have exact coins then you can use the exact change booths which are not staffed.
