Hoping that someone has information that will help our family. We'll be staying onsite at PC next month and would like to drive to the AK park on Saturday morning. We have an early PS at Donald's Prehistoric B'fast and I know that I need to be at the Front Gate no later than 7:40am. When will the toll booths open at the theme parks? If taking the bus is our only option, then I'd like to know ahead of time. Seems that there are no postings for when the theme park toll booths are scheduled to open. I've seen a couple of posts that indicate problems encountered with early Theme Park PS times. But my sister came back from her trip in the fall and had no problems. They stayed off-site and had 8am PS for the Crystal Palace on a Saturday (I think). They used the MK parking and were fine. Does anyone know for sure? Appreciate the transportation/parking help.
 :earsgirl:

We have driven over to AK For EMH which would be about the time you need to arrive and the Parking Booths where open...If you have a reservation for an event at the Park they will make sure you have access.

Oh, Welcome to The DIS Boards,

Always nice to know there is help out there. I can usually find that others have asked the same questions as me so this is my first attempt at it. Didn't want to ask something that has been asked before a dozen times, but I just couldn't put my fingers on the answer.:teeth:

No problem, I have read other questions about early PS but I can't ever remember a question about what time the Parking Booths opened at the parks ...The Parking Booths at MK are open 24/7 due to the Resort traffic, so it has a fair question?

When is your Trip scheduled?

Scheduled to arrive March 12th (12 hour drive so it will be late evening) and staying until March 20th.

We've gone one other time while the kids were on Spring Break. That was April 2001. Didn't find the crowds too bad then. Our other trips have been early Feb 2000 and 2003.

This time our Spring Break happens to be while the Braves are there for Spring Training. Works great for us as we can catch a game or two. Hope it doesn't add a lot more folks to the parks though.
Also hoping for good weather!:sunny:

Oh, We'll be there March 26-April 1..also have tickets for the Braves/Mets game Saturday March 27th. We will also be staying at Pop Century this time...Have a Great Trip.

We're big Braves fans. We'll be there for the Yankees and the Mets. The Yankees game says Split Squad, so I don't know who will be playing and who won't. This will also be our first time to visit the WWoS complex and I love the proximity to the PC. Some posts say that the transporation to the WWoS is via MGM and others say BB? We thought it would be easier to drive so to avoid the transfer.

Have you had other experiences with Braves games or WWoS?

Oh, also since MK toll booths are open 24/7, do you happen to know what time the monorails start/stop operating?

:scratchin

BamaBornNemoNut,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner...When we went last year the bus to WWOS picked up at MGM Studio's this year we will just drive from which ever Park we are at that day...We just love Cracker Jack Stadium, over at WWOS. and you are very close to players...I can't wait.
