hi all. we were at wdw this week & talked to a dvc rep & he said that they just added tokyo & hong kong to the list of hotels that we could use our points with. but i haven't seen anything on it yet on any of the websites. does anyone have any more information?

Extending the use of points to the Hong Kong Disneyland hotels might happen (though I've seen nothing about this) but I will be amazed if they ever let DVC members use points at Tokyo Disneyland Resort. It's not even owned by Disney! Disney just collects a licensing fee from Oriental Land Company, which actually owns and operates the Tokyo resort.

True, but that doesn't preclude DVC from making an agreement with those resorts similar to other exhange agreements where DVC pays cash for the rooms and the points are rented by CRO to pay for it.

If this it true, they are probably waiting on finalization of any agreement...or are perhaps going to make an announcement at the annual meetings. It would be nice to have all the Disney branded parks available as DVC destinations.
