Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a dining recommendation between Tokyo Dining (Epcot) and Raglan Road (Downtown). My girlfriend and I have never been to either of these restaurants and looking to finish up our dining itinerary.

Here is a list of restaurants we have reservations for so far:

Be Our Guest
La Hacienda de San Angel
OPEN (between RR and TD)
Ohana
Boma
Cape May

Thanks!

I haven't been to Tokyo Dining, so my opinion is probably biased. But Raglan Road is awesome. Such a food atmosphere and good food (and beer!). I like sushi and Japanese food but I'd go with Raglan Road over it in a heartbeat (and did).

What did you get for dinner at Raglan last time you were there? We are on the dining plan and of course want to get the most for our money. We were also thinking of Rose and Crown as well. Any experiences with that restaurant as well?

I loved Raglan Road. I had the beef stew, family had a steak and I can't remember what else. Everything was delicious. We liked the bread and dip for starters and the bread pudding was amazing. The atmosphere was awesome, too!

Love love love Raglan Road! Last time I had dinner there, I had the Serious Steak.. It was so delicous! And the bread pudding for dessert is just amazing!!!!!!! We love the atmosphere and the food at RR. You will not be disappointed! I am very excited to be going back during my Nov trip.. It is my arrival day dinner with friends who will already be vacationing to wdw. Cannot wait to start my trip with an awesome meal!

I voted Tokyo Dining. I found it a little less chaotic than Raglan Road and its an excellent choice for an adults only meal. Plus it's IN the parks! But you can't really go wrong with either.

They are very different and both very good! TD would be more intimate, quieter. RR is loud, fun. I say look at the menus and decide if you would rather be at Epcot or DTD. Or go crazy and do one for lunch, one for dinner!

I ordered the Bangers and Booz. There's a bit of a review from our RR visit here http://www.disboards.com/threads/ba...n-update-5-29-x2.3353019/page-4#post-53723742 if you want to read it. I highly recommend it, we really enjoyed it. No experience with Rose & Crown, sorry--I think it looks really good and I'd love to eat there sometime.

Raglan Road was one of our very favorite restaurants the last trip.......if you go...you MUST try their Bread and Butter Pudding for desert...it is to die for...FANTABULOUS!

I haven't been to Raglan Road so my opinion is a little biased but Tokyo Dining was so good. We had this Tuna Tataki with Truffle Oil and I was in heaven. I also had this spicy California roll; which was a huge portion and we had a seat by the window during Illuminations :)

That's tough--they are very different and I like both of them. For me, it would come down to what kind of cuisine I wanted. We ate at both on our last trip and came away quite satisfied with both meals. At Raglan, I had shepherd's pie with bread pudding for dessert. At Tokyo Dining, I got chicken katsu and dessert was, I think, green tea ice cream? That's one way to decide--if you guys are really into desserts, pick Raglan Road. They have the superior dessert menu.
