We will be going to WDW for our anniversary in October (actually it's our 25th and we spent our honeymoon there) of 2017 and have reservations for dinner. I made them at 7:35 so we could ask to wait for a window seat to watch Illuminations.

My first question is, if the wait is long enough (say more than a half hour) will we be able to go sample some saki or walk around the department store or do we need to stay right at the hostess stand? Not sure if they notify you that your table is ready by text or a handheld buzzer, etc.

Second, is it really worth waiting for Illuminations prime viewing space or should we just take what we can get first and then go outside to watch the fireworks? Is there anything I should do in advance to let them know it's our anniversary?

Third, because it's our anniversary and we plan to eat a lot and use our snack and QS credits for Food and Wine, we are getting the dining plan. I can't figure out how that works for sushi. Is there a certain number of items that you get within the plan? If so, where can I go to see what those are?

1. They don't have pagers that I recall.

2. They may not allow you to wait. Doesn't matter that it's your anniversary; it's everyone's anniversary when they ask for a special table, or birthday, or celebration of being free of gout through the miracle of faith, etc. etc.

3. Snack credits can never be used at a TS, if that's what you're asking.

You will be allowed one entree, one non alcoholic drink and one dessert. They do serve sushi entrees of different types of sushi, so you will be able to choose that if you want sushi.
