Has anyone stayed in the Tokelau bldg. who can tell me what you thought of it? Was it a good location - close to the pool and main bldg.? Are the rooms nice - are there double sinks - is it near the beach? Trying to decide on which bldg. to request. Thanks for any info.

I stayed in the Tokelau building last April and loved it! It is not to far away from the main building, about a minute or two walk. The view wasnt that great, although we could see some of Cindarella's Castle. The room was really nice and the beds were comfortable. All in all, it was a very nice experience! Also by the way, the main pool (the new one) was about the same distance away from the Tokelau building as the main building was. (They are side-by-side).

We always stay in Tokelau. We like the building and the location. for some reason we usually get the saame section of the building near the stairs. I don't think they have double sinks in there but I have always been at the one end. I think Tahiti is the building with double sinks. They are in the bathroom though not ouside the loo and the shower area.

Isn't the Tahiti building for Lagoon view only? What's a good building to request for Garden view to give us the best view?

There are 2 sides to that building. One side is Lagoon the other is garden. I haven't stayed in it ever but it seems to have a good location.

We have stayed in Tokelau three times and have decided we like this location best. Of course if I could afford the view of the castle from the conceirge rooms..... The building has large rooms(no double sinks to my knowledge) and they were recently renovated. It is close to the quiet pool and a very short walk to the beach, the Main pool and GCH. It is also a nice walk to the TTC, which is nice if you want to take the monorail to Epcot, (the pathways are beautifully landscaped) or busses to other resorts. The garden views and standard views from this building are very nice and it is quiet. The building was built in two stages, the newer section is closer towards the beach end and if you have a garden view in these rooms near the end you also get a bit of a water view, and yes you can hear the howls from the ghosts and werewolf at the Haunted mansion across the water in the MK from these rooms! Before you decide on what building you would like to stay in take a look at the resort map, we stayed in Tahiti (long time ago 1978!) room 2414 and had a beautiful water view, the only thing with this location it is on the other side of the small little harbour for the resort. It may be a bit more convenient to be on the pool side, depends on the people in your group. Either way the Poly is beautiful and you will enjoy it!

OOPS! sorry my mistake about Tahiti, it was Tuvalu we stayed in in 1978(which was then the Samoa). Tahiti would be a nother great building, it is closer to the TTC and is on the pool side of the resort.

We loved our location at Tokelau. We were on the top floor looking out to the lagoon. It was a standard view room but we were on the side of the building closest to the beach and had a very nice side view of the lagoon. The building is convenient to so many things at the Poly. There is a quiet pool just outside, the GCH and Volcano pool are just a short walk away. The parking lot is not too far and the TTC is just a 5 minute walk. I think it's the perfect location.

We stayed in Tokelau last year and are going to try and stay there again this year. we had a view overlooking the quiet pool.
It a central location between the TTC and the GCH and main pool.

We've stayed there twice, 10 years apart. Both times it was great! Seemed to be a short walk everywhere, except the opposite side of the resort. Have fun!

Tokelua is awesome. We just returned and were so lucky to get the Tokelau building. We had room # 3914, awesome lagoon view and views of GF and the castle. All at garden view prices.

It is close to the pool, the ceremonial house and a short walk to the TTC.

I would suggest Tikitman's website.
