Tojan virus from the DISBOARD

Does anyone know why all of a sudden I would be getting warnings for the trojan virus from the DISBOARDS website? Is this happening to anyone else?

Just happened to me too. My antivirus caught it and got rid of it but SCARY!!!

Yes, Getting one also, everytime I get to the start page. Thank god for anti-viruses. I sure hope it's something that will get fixed, don't want to stop checking out this site.

I'm not seeing it, but it could be triggered by an ad on the main page that is attempting to exploit some sort of hole. It's not unheard of, although the ad agencies are supposed to screen for these.

It seems to be a false positive from AVG. There is a thread on the Tech Board you might want to check out.

We also have avg.. and every time you do anything on here it keeps popping up.. I "heal" it.. but it just makes me wonder why all of a sudden.. Like other posters.. I don't want to stop using the boards, but at the same time, I don't want to get a virus.. The boards you are talking about is that the avg boards?

Webmaster Alex seems to think it has something to do with the AVG antivirus and is not a concern. But it is a good reminder to always keep your computer updated!

I ran a scan on my system and had no trojan. I also updated my AVG but haven't rebooted yet. It doesn't do it if you are using Firefox. It seems to be something with AVG and Internet Explorer.

Don't panic yet. I would suggest updating your AVG and see if that makes a difference.
