Toiletries ????

I'm staying at SSR in a few weeks (this is my first visit to any DVC resort) and I don't want to pack unneccesary items. Could anyone tell me if things like soap and shampoo are provided or do we need to bring our own?

They provide a small bottle of shampoo but it's not enough for me. I'd plan on bringing your own. Also I hate those small soaps so I always bring my own.

Just as a clarification - there are limits on what liquids you can bring with your carry-on luggage. You can put as much as you want in your checked bags.

And it's not like a hotel where they refresh everything every day. You will get trash & towel on day 4, and they will refresh the soaps and shampoo then.

We have requested additional shampoo and soap (I like to keep a bar of soap at kitchen sink as well as bathroom sinks). So far we have never been charged.

But you could always ask mousekeeping for an extra or 2.

I like Dove soap so we bring our own.
