I am sure there has been discussion already on this, but in hurry. Hubby leaving for business on sunday. From what I understand he can take a carry on suitcase with his clothes in it. Also, just to be clear, he can carry his toothpaste, shampoo and deoderant (solid), as long as they fit in a 1 quart clear plastic bag. Is that right. Thanks.

All liquids (and creams, pastes, gels, etc.) are limited to 3 ounces each (except medications) and must fit in one quart sized zipper bag. The solid deodorant doesn't go in the plastic bag as it isn't a liquid. He will have to take the plastic bag out of the suitcase when he goes through security and it will be examined separately. There is a good picture of what is acceptable at the TSA website: www.tsa.gov.
