Toiletries - Dream Castle Hotel

Have just reread the excellent hotel review by littlelizzie, but the only mention of toiletries was wall mounted body wash in shower area and similar beside sink. Could anyone who has recently stayed in this hotel let me know exactly what is provided - tissues, shampoo, lotion, etc????? We're trying to make this trip hand luggage only, so the more things we can avoid bringing the better.

Also, I have a vague memory of reading that they now provide kettles (whereas they didn't before) - is that true? Won't bring a kettle anyway, but might bring a few teabags, hot chocolate sachets etc if facilities are available.

PS: We are nowhere near the single digit dance yet but I am about ready to combust with excitement - any tips on how to keep going with the daily grind when my head is already in disneyland gratefully received.

Hi Lucy,

We stayed at the Dream Castle hotel August this year and there was definately not a kettle in our room. However we stayed in a room with 2 kingsize beds and not a typical family room with bunkbeds. Also in way of toiletries there is only the shampoo/body wash which is wall mounted in the shower and also by the basin. Hopes this helps.

Must say this is a lovely hotel to stay in and we are heading back in 4 weeks time and are getting really excited at the thought.

i think that you def. get a shower cap, shampoo, etc.

can't remember about the kettle though - we stayed there in july 2006 - i have been asleep since then!

Have you any tips re staying in this hotel? Best place to get the bus, best time or smart ways to tackle breakfast, short cuts, any "oh, I didn't know you could do that"s, etc etc.

When you're only staying three nights in a hotel, you don't have the same amount of time to find out all the little things you wish you'd known or worked out sooner.
