I am renting from a dvc owner at the BWV in April. I was wondering what toiletries if any are provided. Also, if they are provided and you run out, can you request more since mousekeeping doesnt come daily?

You will get a small bottle (single use size) of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion as well as soap bars for each bathroom sink or tub. That's it.

If your stay is less than 8 nights and more than 3 nights, you will receive a trash & towel service on Day 3 (Day 1 is the day you check in). The toiletries are replenished at that time.

You should bring your own toiletries if you will need more than what is initially supplied. As you know, DVC members do not receive the same daily service as the regular resort guests do.

five dollars cash in the housekeepers hands will ensure plenty of supplies. track down a housekeeper on day one or two when you see one cleaning another room. introduce yourself , get your supplies and be sure to tip. have a great trip.

Trash & Towel should be on day 4 (day 1 is the day you check-in) if you are staying 7 nights or less.

Trash & Towel Service
For stays of seven or less nights, Trash & Towel Service is provided on day four, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, Vacation Points or a combination of both.

With Trash & Towel service, Housekeeping will:

Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
Provide fresh bathroom linens.
Replace shampoo, facial soap and bath soap.
Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwashing detergent, sponges and laundry detergent as needed in one-, two- and three-bedroom Vacation Homes.

Pay As You Play
With Pay As You Play service, you'll be provided with the following amenities free of charge at the start of your stay. After that, you may purchase more for the following fees:

Toiletries Package, $5.00 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
Coffee Package, $3.00 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
Towel Package, $6.00 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
Laundry Detergent (only in One-, Two-, and Three-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1.00 - 1 box

You will get a small bottle (single use size) of shampoo, conditioner and body lotion as well as soap bars for each bathroom sink or tub.

Bring your own body lotion because there is no lotion provided--shower gel instead.
For what it is worth we have never been charged when we have requested extra toiletries. I always ask for an extra bar of hand soap to keep at the kitchen sink and we have occasionally gotten shampoo or shower gel.

If you are in a 1 bedroom and up you will also have one small bottle of liquid dish soap and some dishwasher soap in packets, we have had one to six packets in our villa. If you have a wash machine in your unit and plan to do laundry, you will have one box (for one load) of Tide. I usually bring my own concentrated soap powder as my family needs the scent free, color free detergent. I pack several dishwasher cubes and dryer sheets, (you could try the new soap and dryer sheet combo, they would pack well) and a little Biz for stains. As far as I know, every DVC resort has a free laundry somewhere so if you are in a studio and don't have a washer in your unit you can still wash your clothes. You will need to bring your own soap to the "free laundry." Washing clothes cuts way down on what we need to bring.

I run all the dishes I plan to use through the dishwasher before we use them. There have been some real dusty glasses and some dishes that were not real clean when we got into the unit. It is a peace of mind thing for me.

When I have the stacked washer dryer in the unit, I often wash a load of towels and time the dry cycle to when I get out of the shower and then I have a hot towel. Everyone has their own idea of vacation.

Anything that you request, you will pay for. Other than more toilet paper, more paper towels.

What size villa are you reserving? It makes a difference.
