What resorts are your favorite when traveling with toddlers. Just going to the parks for three days the rest of the week will be staying at the resort. Thanks in advance.

Art of Animation is great for toddlers. They have great theming throughout the resort with Disney and Pixar characters all over including a Nemo themed pool and little mermaid, lion king, cars, and Nemo themed rooms. Little Mermaid is a standard room size, the rest are family suites, so do cost a bit more. Plus there's easy access to the skyliner to go visit a couple of the parks or other resort areas.

I would make sure there was a playground...I know a few resorts do not have one. Also, resorts with multiple pools (quiet pools) can give you more swimming options--a lively afternoon pool party or a chill swim with just a few other families. Also, if your kid doesn't take showers some refurbished rooms only have walk-in showers. (Our room at Pop didn't have a tub.)

We love the cabins at fort wilderness! They have tons of playgrounds and we love being able to cook our own food. We also rent a golf cart which ds loves and he really likes the s’mores by the campfire. We’ve made staying at the cabins a yearly thing with him.

With toddlers, go where you want to go at the price point you can afford. Seriously, most just want a pool and/or a playground.

We booked at Wilderness Lodge. We’re thinking we will spend a lot of time at Magic Kingdom so liked that we could take a boat rather than a bus there. The pool and splash area also looked really nice, so if it turns out our toddler hates the parks we can swim somewhere nice. We also wanted some where that had a balcony to sit on for adults at nap time.

We also considered AKL savanna view but the cost just didn’t make sense so we decided to wait until she’s older and more likely to remember it. And if we weren’t doing so many park days we might have gone with Port Orleans, they both of really nice pool areas and are very pretty/nice to walk around, and it would be easy to take the boat to Disney Springs.

Budget-friendly: ASMovies (splashground, fun theming, playground, walking distance to Mcdonalds), Pop (Skyliner), Ft. Wilderness campsite (such a fun place for toddlers...playgrounds, horses, boat to MK and thus easy access to monorail resorts, kids water playground, Chip n Dale sing along, possible golf cart rental).

AoA is a great choice, too...Skyliner, fun playground, great theming, but more expensive. The Little Mermaid rooms are rarely discounted and we can't justify getting a family suite unless the grandparents are traveling with us so we have 6 people.

Moderate: Port Orleans FQ (playground, water playground, cute theming at pool, easy access to Disney Springs) or Fort Wilderness cabin.

Deluxe: I really liked Saratoga Springs for access to Disney Springs, water playground, dry playground, boat to DS, community room, Surrey bike rentals. Resorts like the Poly or the Grand might have more impressive theming but we appreciated all the non-park activities at SSR.

Wilderness Lodge. Stayed there when my son was 18 months and he loved it. Very family-friendly theme, great pool, and when we were there, they had yard games set up in the grassy area…not sure if they still do that. It was a great resort, I’d love to stay there again someday.

There's a pool and then there's Stormalong Bay. My toddler was in love from the jump.

For Deluxe AKL or WL. Both pools have slides that are less intimidating for toddlers. AKL splash area is one of the best if not but it is at Kidani, Jambo has a regular playground. WL you can see the fireworks MK fireworks and the water parade as well as EPCOT fireworks in the distance. AK well there is Animals. Young kids and older adults AKL will usually win… In the past which I hope return AKL had many things for younger kids from a night time parade to story tellers to face painting. When they had the nigt vision my son was interested in snakes (yeah I’m not) the guide got him a book about snakes…. Have had numerous great experiences at AKL With young kids and older adults…..
