Toddler snacks

We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside and have a picky 3 year old who eats mostly snack items. Are there places in park to purchase that kind of stuff for reasonable prices or should we bring it with us?

I had my friend look for this same thing. I know baby care sells cookies and small snacks like that but not really any "toddler" snacks, like puffs, yogurt bites, etc...

I would also bring it with you but if you are in a pinch, a good place for simple toddler friendly snacks is the food area of gift shops. We found disney themed graham crackers, and pretzels and simple cookies. There are fruit stands in every park and yogurt, apple sauce and grapes are easy to find in most CS places.

If your child has some very specific brands or snacks (like Cheerios), then definitely bring your own. I've never personally seen a single Cheerio (and forget a whole bowl!) available for sale at WDW. But if you just need the broad category of "snacks", then you will find plenty of options. Fresh fruit is available throughout the parks and at most CS locations. Same for carrot sticks, etc.

Some of the quick service restaurants offer a Power Pack Lunch that includes, Dannon Danimals yogurt, apple wedges, carrot sticks, goldfish crackers, apple-cinnamon snack bar and choice of small lowfat milk or small water. I thought this was a great idea! My daughter would eat this before she would eat a hamburger.

Depending on how much you would like to have with you, you may want to place an order with garden grocer (for convenience of having it available in the room). Then you could bring with you a small softsided cooler (or lunchbox thing) and pack an ice pack in your checked luggage (if the fridges have a freezer section? Otherwise bring ziploc bags and fill with ice to keep things cold.

Then you could order things like sliced apples (we just got them in our last order - nice to have), yogurts, fruit cups, juices, whatever your little one likes, maybe cheese slices, crackers,... Then pack a nice selection to go with you daily.

I used to bring a little cooler with juice, water, and some healthy snacks to the parks when my kids were little. I never knew when they'd need a little snack, and my DS has food allergies so I knew what was safe. I actually shipped a box down ahead of time a couple of times with safe snacks for him as well as a hot pot to heat water in the room for ramen (something my kids liked a lot and was safe to eat).

Like others have said, they do have a snack pack thing at some counter service places. You'll spend more that way though. I'd rather tailor it to what your little one likes.
