Okay, were in the midst of toilet training (heading to wdw next minth) and little Miss will not use the adult sized toilets, too scared of them right now. We have been in malls and other places that have small, kid sized toilets and sinks and she will happily use them. Does Disney have any pint sized toilets at any of their parks? Thanks in advance!! :)

I think the baby care centers have pint size toilets available, but there is only 1 in each park and they are usually at the front of each park. I know when my toddler was an infant we needed to use the baby care centers frequently and the epcot 1 was such a hassle bc it was a really long walk if we were in world showcase and needed to get all the way back to the baby care center. I know Disney also supplies "family bathrooms" but I am not sure if they have pint size toilets in them or not. I am also guessing that you will be bringing your potty from home for the resort bc I know they don't have pint size toilets in the resorts. My toddler is going to be 3 this summer, so I know potty training is going to be happening sooner rather than later, lol, and I am worried about the same sort of problem when we visit next year in Disney, lol. Good luck on your trip!

If I recall correctly, the Baby Care Centers had pint size facilities available.
I'll second this. I spent a lot of time in the various baby care centers last year (as my twins hated the hard changing tables in the bathrooms, they had no problem with the soft ones in the centers though) and I am pretty sure they have child sized toilets/sinks. Most also sell baby items and have a tv/activity room to rest in.

Off the top of my head, I can only recall Hollywood Studios having a little toddler size toilet. I know they do, because DS loves being able to stand up, which he can't do with the adult sized ones, he's too small. Magic Kingdom might have a little one too. I don't remember Epcot having a smaller toilet though, and I definitely don't think Animal Kingdom does.

Not specific to WDW, but when my boys were potty training, I had a fold up potty in a bag that I brought everywhere. You can bring it into a handicapped stall (for more room) and just set it up on the floor. You could also fold the legs to the side to use as a potty seat, but we mostly used it as a stand alone potty. You put bags into it for the "waste". Telling a newly trained toddler to wait till you get to the little toilet at the front of the park may be difficult.

Also bring something to cover the censor so the potty dose'nt not flush while there on it. I used stick notes lol

Brilliant!! You don't recall the brand/name do you? That would be great and I could have her get used to it before we leave on vacation!

Disney does NOT have family restrooms. They have companion restrooms which are different because they have higher set toilets for those needing them. The higher set makes it easier for someone in a wheelchair to transfer.

another vote for portable potty. I used this one for both of my kids.

BTW, you don't need to buy the bags that come with it. I just use the thin produce bags that are in a roll. Super convenient.

If you plan to use just regular plastic bags from either the produce department or just plastic grocery bags put a panty liner or pad in the inside bottom of the bag. That will soak up any liquid waste and make disposal much easier.

This is the right answer. We were disappointed that the baby care centers aren't similar across all of the parks. A severe oversight in my opinion. The one at HS may have the tiny potty, but they don't have water available for formula etc like they do at EPCOT or MK. In fact there usually isn't anyone staffing the place since it is located in the guest services area. However it has great dark rooms for nursing or general sleepy time.

NO! NO! NO! Disney does NOT have Family Bathrooms! Disney has companion bathrooms. These bathrooms are for handicapped people that need assistance. My son is 16, with the mental capacity of a 6 year old. We depend on those few companion restrooms because he will never be able to handle the men's room unaccompanied. His speech is limited, so the time between me being aware that he needs to go, and a full blown accident is a short window. Nothing frustrates me more then waiting and waiting and having 6 people. Mom, Dad and the whole gaggle of kids strolling out of the companion bathroom like they have all the time in the world.

I am very understanding that single parents sometimes need to use these bathrooms, especially when their child is too old to go in the ladies room with mom, but too immature to go in the big scary men's room alone. I get it, I do. Just please be considerate.

I have gotten into the habit of taking my son, everytime we pass a companion bathroom, whether he thinks he needs it or not. We have been accident free since we instituted that policy.

And to answer your original question, they do not have tiny toilets in the companion restrooms, the seats are actually higher to accommodate the handicapped.

The only locations within Disney World that will have toddler potties are at the respective baby care centers. I've heard the one at DHS is super tiny in comparison to the other parks. The toddler potties are lower in height, and are a manual (not automatic sensor) flush. Because the baby care center may not be conveniently closer to where you are at the moment your kid needs to go, I highly recommend the aforementioned Potette portable potty seat that was posted earlier on the thread. It comes with a travel bag and has been convenient to throw in the bottom of our stroller when we make zoo/theme park outings. The Potette seat folds flat and can be placed on a regular toilet over a seat liner if your only option is a regular toilet, or you fold the Potette sides down and place it on the ground (attached with a bag) to serve as a small portable potty.
