Today's MK park hours

I was just playing around on the MDE app on my ipad as I've just done an update (yes ANOTHER one !!!) and I noticed the MK has EMH from 1am till 3am today !!!!!

Can anyone explain why the hours would be so long on a sunday night in November ... is it a holiday ? I know it's Thanksgiving next weekend but I didn't think it was anything special this weekend

It's Thanksgiving on Thursday and the whole week tends to be very busy and that's why the park hours are long

We are here now they do have these hours every so often. We did until 3am in Sept 2012 and loved it. Nearly did tonight as well but DH fell asleep and now doesn't want to go. It's been COLD today and we nipped into AK today which was the park to AVOID but because we has FP+ we managed to do a lot. But back to original thread...do the extra hours if you get the chance.

When we was there 2wks ago they kept changing the hours, they added a few hours at HS and had EMH at MK from 12-2 when they was only going to be till 11!
I think they change them up depending on how busy they are.

I'm in WDW and the crowds are getting bigger by the day as we head towards Thanksgiving on Thursday. I was in Hollywood Studios earlier where wait times were 150 minutes for Toy Story Mania, 75 minutes for Terror Tower and 60 minutes for Rock & Rollercoaster

Magic kingdom is crazy with people at the moment we walked in and out yesterday took as 40 mins to get in park

WOW !!!! I've been at Easter and Xmas and I don't think I ever waited anywhere near that long to get into MK

I came home on Monday and was quite glad I'd done most of what I wanted to do earlier in my holiday as it was just so busy over the weekend.
