Today's Changes

I haven't seen a thread about this yet, so my apologies if it's already posted elsewhere.


I wanted to share with you all the changes I have noticed.

First of all, they are onto us! They have decreased the number of players who can play the mini-games (Jungle cruise especially) because they realized we are just sucking up credits left and right... (I admit, I'm a Ned abuser!)

That means lines to play...I saw a line 26 deep for Jungle Cruise...and rumors of it taking up to 2 hours to get even halfway through a line that deep have been claimed.

Next:

the black outs-When you log in you have a dead-end or black out. I'm not sure about this one yet, my guess is due to all the changes.

SO much for VMK being down for 9 hours to fix problems!

Lastly, the limit in rooms has been lowered to like 7... SEVEN! I had a waiting line to get into a Central Plaza room that when I entered had 6 others in...

Tried to get into the room Astryd is in, and it was a line 8 deep to get in!

Anybody noticed any other changes??

Anybody as grumpy about said changes as me??

Once VMK is finished loading, and you get the black screen, I usually let it sit there and then VMK comes up, but I've noticed that when there is about 2000 players on or something.
I just entered central plaza and it only had six other people in it too (it was full).

I almost think that no one has been able to play Jungle Cruise. I waited forever in a queue of 20+ and it dropped like 4 during that wait. I think the queue only has been improving, because people give up and leave the Jungle Cruise wait.

But who knows - it's been one of my worries that they'll change the JC and 20 easy credits won't be so easy anymore!

Yesterday was the bug day.

Today's the real thing.

No to mention that a lot of schools in the south have gone back to school and I noticed the Que's after school had let out----

they all had their mind on VMK and those pins!!

Oh I have to add something and since I wasn't last to post... I'll do it this way.

Several SEVERAL people last night got warnings for using dictionary words to mean other things...and that it wasn't "safe"

All these people had one thing in common-using words for numbers.

Yes folks, VMK has done the crack down on number usage.

Even players with numbers in their titles have to change them. Beachhalo86 and xfan342 specifically that I know of so far (and others I have heard of).

So, word to the wise, don't use words for numbers anymore!

I wonder if they are having the crack down because somebody tried to give out a phone number or something??


as for the room with 13, was it public or private? what time?

I am in a Haunted Masion room right now with 11 people.

The reason I said that it was a bug because you can't trade. I have tried it in private rooms and public rooms with no luck. The notice comes up but no trade box.

I wonder what's going on? Maybe the rooms that are usually full are where they are cracking down-in public.

Right now I'm sitting in Central Plaza south-south-west and have not seen more than seven at a time in the hour I have been there...

You didn't mention the trading bug before now, just that something might be a bug. I forgot that one, thanks for reminding me! That is a total bug, I agree.

I agree that something crazy is happening today, but I do believe it is a big bug partly related to the same bug allowing 100 people in one room, this is perhaps the result of their attempt to correct that. It will all be better tommarow

Okay things I have noticed: the fireworks game has changed a bit. Maybe with all the peopel on it. the beginning seems slower and as the patterns go it seems they have gotten faster. Can not really put my finger on it but the pattern where they shoot are in slightly different places. Also I was crashing ever 2 or 3 games. Took forever to load And I once counted 17 in the dis camp room I was in. Also less Dis Peopl on tonight must be the long wait at jungle cruise I rotated from 26 in queue to the lowest 21. Gave up no hope lost a lot of credits tonight
Also At the Music game when i finsihed my song I kept dancing off stage and I did not push the dance button. Also it did not give me credits. I went back and played my song again and then it gave me credits. This happened twice tonight. Also took forever to get on.

All I know is that if VMK keeps going this way my addiction will soon be solve.

The fireworks game has definitely had small little changes where fireworks are spread out some games and other games a little closer, but this change definitely did not happen last night I have noticed it for the past few weeks actually. You brought up an interesting point about the fireworks shooting faster because depending on the game I have seen slower fireworks and faster fireworks, but have also noticed fireworks with shorter lag and longer lag for bursting flawless. These changes definitely did not occur last night and I have picked up on them over the past few weeks.

Well if Shorts is right and these are changes they have made they just killed the game after only a few months!

Let's all give them a BIG HAND that has got to be a record even for DISNEY!

Tonight, I was told there was a wait to get into a room that I was alone in. I wonder if the bug is really with the program recognizing how many people are in a room...

I just sent in a error report and hopefully they will get things taken care of first thing next week.

Sadly tomorrow and Sunday will probably be the same since I venture to say the programmers are not working this week-end.

And when was the last time anyone saw a CM?

For those that are wanting to trade things and can't.

I found out tonight that you can still trade at the monorail station and someone also said you can trade at the Space store.
