Today - WHO IS AWAKE?? (September 4) ADR Support Thread

It looks like no one is booking the Candlelight Processional here, so that gives me hope that it might be available when I call tomorrow.

So is anyone else doing ADRs tomorrow morning?

I'm so ready to be done! DM has a cancer check-up tomorrow, so between that and ADR stress, I'm and today.

I just want this trip (in honor of my momma) to be perfect! Plus, the day before her check-ups are always rough on us anyway since the second time she was diagnosed with breast cancer, they found it at one of these check-ups.

Ready for tomorrow to be over; hopefully, the morning will start out positive with our ADRs and continue through the day!

I'm not making our ADRs until October, but I wanted to give you a and let you know that I'm in the same boat with my mom.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago, and she was doing okay until just recently they found many swollen lymph nodes in her neck. They're testing for Hodgkin's lymphoma and we won't know anything until next week. These were found at a post-cancer check up.

I've been up since yesterday morning. I work nights ICU/Surgical (I'm an RN) Been working on my ADR's all night (patients are all good) I can totally sympathize with all you guys dealing with illnesses in your family and my heart goes out to all of you My DD10 has autism and I really need to make this trip perfect for her, she is the love of my life!

Here is what I got so far:

9/13 (arrival date) Diamond Horseshoe at MK (after Wishes @ 8:55pm)

9/14 H&V 3:45pm (definately not my 1st pick, heard bad things but it was the only place with availability...I will attempt to get in to SF or PTC that day by seeing if nobody shows up for their ressie...worked last year at PTC )

9/15 Maya Grill at CSR 7pm (looks really good and we are going to AK that day so we'll be back early to the hotel)

9/16 Crystal Palace for lunch (1:05pm)

9/17 The Plaza 7:50pm

9/18 Tepan Edo 7:10pm

The only one I am really disappointed with is H&V because of all the bad reviews so I may just CS that day instead, we'll see. We like the buffet style with our DD because if she won't sit still or gets upset we can eat and run (no waitress service)

Hope all your ADR's go smoothly and you all get what you want.

BTW, I cancelled Rainforrest Cafe (not on DP) and CRT because it takes 2 Sit down credits per person.

did you get all this via ONLINE or did you CALL ( there seems to be some confusion at Disney as to whether or not the 90 + 10 is working for people ONLINE )

All on line and we leave in 9 days. I started with ADR about 3 weeks ago. I can't plan ANYTHING 90 days in advance. I even planned my trip to Hawaii in 1 week. My DH said "let's go to Hawaii next week" and we did it. (Before kids!) We're really spontaneous people that's why all these ressies have me NUTS...I like to plan as I go and not stick to an itinerary.

The online ADR system is now down - hopefully they are fixing the problems with BLT ressies, etc.

They said it would just be for an hour or so (at 1pm) I was having trouble finding all my ressies...did them all under my res # and still couldn't find them (was getting worried but maybe it was the system going down)

I can't make our ADRs until Sunday morning (and believe me I will not sleep much the night before anticipating it!) and I wanted an early ressie for Ohana on DH's bday on the 7th. From the sounds of things, and what I keep reading (which I really should just pry myself away!), any ADR for Ohana on the 7th of Dec will be a miracle!

On a good note: Congrats to everyone who got what they wanted!

on our end, the adventure started at 5:30 am today and ended about noon, with several calls to Dining Number in the interim...we wanted early chef mickey for breakfast on the 4th but could not get the ONLINE dining to recognize our reservation number


sometime during the 6 hour ( mind is a blur but probably from our 7:00am 40 minute hold phone call we had to make ) ordeal we did manage to get O Hana for 7:35 Dec 4

so yes there is hope
