Today Was Our 60 Day FP+ Day - Results

I have no facts to back this up, but I'm getting a sense here that very recently the overall vibe has gone from "I can't get any FP's I want for any day!" to "I got everything including MMRR exactly when I wanted".

Interesting.

For travel dates when most all schools are still in session, it sounds like that might be right. Will that tube the case in a month or two when the 60-day window is smack in the middle of summer break? I hope so, as I’m planning May/June 2021. Fingers crossed!

I was able to get every FastPass I wanted this morning for our early May trip (5/2-5/11). Didn’t have to change a single park day or dining reservation. 8-)
We got all of ours too.......May 2-12. Can' t wait
You can me into this boat as well. Did FP selection this morning and got everything for each park day 5/3-5/7. I think the latest FP we have for the week (party of two) is 3:15 for MFSR. I was even able to change my MMRR FP to an earlier time in the afternoon after refreshing, which was a surprise.

We have the exact same dates and booked this morning as well, no issues whatsoever. Even got 7DMT at 1pm on our arrival day, and could have had one at noon instead if we wanted. We had our pick of times for everything. ADR day was similar as well.

I scheduled AK & HS the last 4 days of the trip and was able to get FOP (twice), SDD, MMRR, TSM and 7DMT.
So that's the key .. I would say the average trip is probably 4-5 days .. so getting some of those FPs really shouldn't be hard on days 5-7. Congrats though!

Plus .. this is for early May (probably a down time compared to Spring Break, Summer or Fall) .. probably another factor in your favor.

But this gives me hope to be able to get a SDD and MMRR FP on my trip .. the problem for me is that my DHS day will be day 3 of my trip . .(and I may do a 2nd day on day 5 (departure day)).

I'm also wondering if travel from abroad will be considerably less with the virus thing going on. And how long the effect of that will possibly impact travel to the states.

This is a good point. I’ll just say though that even before this outbreak, things were looking good for May. Our ADR day went pretty much the same as yesterday for FPs, wide open reservations for all the hard to get places with pick of times. I booked Ohana on a whim on our last day but ended up having to cancel because JetBlue moved our flight back 3 hours.

As many of the PP have noted, early May is still one of the less crowded times in the parks and is one of the biggest reasons we chose it (plus the nice weather). I've only picked 1/2 our ADR's so far (our favorites), so I'll be curious to see how difficult it will be to get some of them within 60 days.

I had a 1-night reservation and tried to get my 60 and 61 day FP right at 7am. I was not able to get FOP or MMRR, so that was disappointing. At DAK I ended up with Dinosaur, Navi River, and Safari (mainly wanted FOP). At DHS I got RnR Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania (wanted MMRR with Slinky Dog as second choice).

I’m getting close to making FP selections for trip at end of May. This makes me so stressed out and nervous!

As you can tell by my title, today was our 60 day FP+ for a 7 day trip the first week of May. I was able to get every FP I wanted (allowing for Tier restrictions) without any issues. I scheduled AK & HS the last 4 days of the trip and was able to get FOP (twice), SDD, MMRR, TSM and 7DMT. All of the times were before 1:00 PM and each FP was within 75 minutes of the next one. Still not sure what our plan will be to address the giant crowds at HS in the AM. We may go, try to get a BP, use our FP's and then head over to EPCOT or return to BWV for some pool time. Then head back to HS when our boarding group (hopefully) is called.
we were in disney 2/6/20 - 2/16/20, so i know some things have changed at DHS with FP+ for SDD/MFSR being tier 1 now. But each morning we got to the park 30-35 minutes early, made our way towards TSL. After getting our BG for RotR (3 for 3!) we would rope drop TSMM, stand by AS2, and then FP SDD. we would be "done" with TSL by 9/915 with an 8AM park open.

we then did stand by at RnRC or ToT - whichever the littles wanted, before heading over to ST, Indiana Jones, or bumming around. we typically left by 1130/12 and watched for our boarding group. Once that was called we returned - hanging out the pool (Beach Club) in the meantime. We did MFSR end of night - usually got in line 715/730 for an 8PM close and had less than a 45 minute wait.

Full day, but some nice pool time mid-day to manage the crowds.

Congratulations. My trips aren't very long so I usually have problems getting FOP and most of the DHS tier 1 fast passes.

Our 60 day was today, and I was able to get every fastpass except for Mickie and Minnie. Got Millennium Falcon though, so that's okay.

I booked Tues for May 3-9 and I got all rides that I wanted but a few of them are later than I wanted - basically the headliners earlier in the trip (7DMT and SDD). The 7DMT is on the same weekday as my trip last year and the equivalent week and it’s later in the day than last year. But all headlines were available starting at 60+3 so that’s definitely better than more crowded times.
