Today, the Magic Kingdom, Share a Dream Come True... **UPDATE(a link added on pg 2)**

On Thursday afternoon in the true showbiz tradition of “the show must go on,” Magic Kingdom cast members once again prepared for the afternoon Share a Dream Come True parade. Thursday's parade was very emotional for all.

As the parade weaved its way onto the viewing area, the last section of the parade where Cruz would have bounded into public view as Pluto, included his friends who performed a silent prayer as they went “on stage” and began to bring joy to their park guests.

As one cast member remarked, “I'm sure it's what Javier would have wanted; he was a very active character.”

On a side note, I heard the family is talking with a lawyer planning to sue Disney. Anyone hear this?

Dan, thanks for the pics. It makes for a nice tribute. I saw this and got goosebumps. Even though we didnt know Javier, his loss being from the Disney family made us feel a somewhat personal loss, like family. With all thats going on with the Disney Co. a tragic loss like this puts things in perspective.
One things for sure, he made a lot of kids of all ages smile, me included.

Thanks for posting this Dan.

Someone I care about very much was affected by this more than anyone could believe. I just hope that all who were there and personally witnessed this tragedy along with everyone else affected are able to find a way through this.
