My hometown! Samantha Brown and Great Hotels are in Savannah today. It's so weird to see it from "an outsider's" point of view. I've never lived anywhere else, so I guess all the charm and mystery (so she's calling it) are lost on me. It's interesting to watch. Her attempts at a southern accent are bugging me a little bit though....

I know just what you mean about that! I always lived 45 mins away from Savannah, so it was nothing special to me. But then I moved to FL and came back for a wedding and stayed downtown. On the day before the wedding, I was alone so I walked to Riverstreet and back up the City Market...it was fabulous! If I had had enough time, I would have taken a tour.

That trip was the main reason I chose Savannah for the wedding...it doesn't get any more beautiful (esp. in the spring!).

Wow! Didn't know I was that close to you guys! Where in Central Ga are you? I have lots of family in Glenwood, Alamo, that area.
