Today is Talk Like A Pirate Day!

In case anyone didn't know, today is officially "Talk Like A Pirate Day." Lots of other sites, such as Livejournal are having special pirate features as a result.

The cool thing is, VMK already has pirate-speak built into its dictionary. So we can all go around saying savvy and scallywag and hornswoggle for this fun day!

What does that MEAN anyway??

I don't know if I want to know.

We were wondering this the last time we headed over to WDW. So, we looked it up in the Pirate dictionary Disney is selling at the Pirates Shop. According to the book, to "shiver the timbers" refers to the "quivering" of a ship as in bad weather. Ships were made out of woods and high winds would cause someone to feel like the ship was shivering.
