My favorite is toasted cinnamon raisin with a little butter and cinnamon sugar on it.

Second favorite is toasted sesame with butter and strawberry jam.

Not a big fan of cream cheese on my bagel, but I don’t hate it, either.

My favorite from a bagel shop is probably "everything" or sesame with cream cheese.

For grocery store ones, double-cheese or onion.

I also make the plain frozen ones at home occasionally with cream cheese, bacon bits, and chives on top.

Cheddar/Swiss fresh from the Bagel store with the store brand Zesty Cheddar cream cheese.

If I buy them from the grocery store, any type will do, but they’re never fresh enough, so I toast them and add butter.

That reminds me, if I do have cream cheese, I like an onion bagel.

I like most bagels, except the everything bagel. There are too many competing flavors with those. My favorite is a plain bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and pepperoni on top. I also like blueberry or cinnamon raisin bagels with butter and cinnamon sugar.

I used to love them with cream cheese but pre-diabetes arrived and now I have to be much more careful how I eat. I could probably get away with it every now and again but it's not something I'd seek out.

My absolute favorite is Chocolate Chip warm from the Bagel Shop with butter. Second favorite is Everything with Cream Cheese and odd as it sounds I like it with Strawberry Cream Cheese when I can get it. Now I want a bagel.

I didn’t know it was National bagel day and today hubby and I are having a bagel. He had an egg bagel with some butter and I am having a cinnamon raisin with light cream cheese. NJ has some great bagel stores and hard to resist going in.
